Shazam Wizard Mamaragan In Justice League Zachary Levi Cast As Billy Batson For Shazam

Its Mamaragan he looks exactly like the Wizard Shazam as shown in the new 52 the exact look same cape bracers everything. I am so freaking out as soon as a saw it I knew. Read the the Trade. Shazam its a good read and you will learn all about Shazam and his supporting cast. Very happy about the casting of Zackary Levi also he will be great as Shazam. Who btw out sold Superman had a black and white cereal in the 40s and a 70s tv show the Shazam and Isis hour . side not they just brought in ISIS on the Legends of Tomorrow tv show. Its a great time to be a Shazam (Captain Marvel) fan.

The history lesson or prologue as it’s called is one of the most anticipated elements of this Justice League film, but I fear it will leave most fans not quite quenched. It maybe probably last only 2-3 minites long. Hypolita’s 60 second bedtime story to Diana about the history of Ares and the Old Gods left much to be desired so I won’t get my hopes up.

Shazam wouldn't have been alive back then.

That's obviously not Shazam. It's Zeus. That's old news.

I never imagined Chuck star being cast as Shazam. I think it's great because he is kind of a kid at heart, brings that child-like performance to his roles. There is a moment in Chuck season 2 finale where he upgrades himself as the next level intersect and starts to show of his martial arts moves. The reaction that he gives after he knockouts the soldiers he says "I know Kung Fu" and the reaction that he gives is so perfect. So I feel Levi will give that same reaction when he becomes Shazam. Even Jerry O' Connell who reprised his role from Justice League Unlimited episode "Clash" in Superman/Shazam the Return of Black Adam gives that amazing reaction when he says Shazam.
Levi already played Fandral in Thor The Dark World. He was originally set to play Fandral the dashing in the first one but couldn't commit due to filming Chuck. When the second film came around Joshua Dallas who played Fandral couldn't commit to the second film due to scheduling conflicts with Once Upon A Time so Levi was cast in the role of Fandral. Levi was also great in Tangled and that role was a nice nod to the boyish charm of Errol Flynn which is what he brought to the role of Fandral as well.
