"He played the game for the game's own sake".
That mind fight was something awesome.
battle simulation 1887
Battle of Intellect
Does anyone know the song at 2:04?
That scene is a piece of art!!
"…it's important you, know I shell endeavor to find the most creative of endings for the doctor…"
Only way to ensure Watson safety from moriaty was to sacrifice himself. I think thats what that look was
They didnt predict That Watson
Was about to enter in That room
As someone who is being harassed by stalkers at the moment. An enemy can always be out matched if you're willing to make sacrifice. Sherlock wins.
What an idiot. As soon as Watson entered the room he should’ve gone “strategy didn’t account for a third party” then pushed him and moriarty to the floor . Watson is a soldier and I’m sure the two of them would’ve won.
The pain in Holmes’ face just before… oh my god
Conor Mcgregor can hold his own acting with RDJ , he can really do it all – WOW
Daaamn haha
looks like human weapon
Too bad he wasnt the diving champion of cambridge
Wish I could do that
If only he and Watson beat his ass instead
Watson does not know, he did that to save his life, (and his wife)!
Sharingan vs sharingan
maybe he didnt realise that watson will enter and help him to take down moriarty, he made that huge mistake
what is the soundtrack at 2.30?
Hay Maker
But he's still alive. If anyone could survive such a fall, it's Sherlock Holmes.
moriarty > holmes
I had low opinion of hollywood's sherlock after the stupid 1st movie. But this scene is such a great adaptation of encounter at Reichenbach Falls!!
I should have watched the 2nd movie, oh well, spoiled now 🙁
Who else replayed the fight scene because it was total awesomeness
2:30 When you get homework on the first day of school…
Why did he Jump in the last moment? He saw watson, he could have helped him.
Sherlock Holmes vs Connor Mcgregor
What is the music?
So thats the reason lane pryce beat up petyr Campbell
So unique. A very under-appreciated moment from a pretty decent movie
Moriarty is crafty devious and intelligent but Sherlock will best him every time
He looks like mcgregor

The story doesn't end here.
Had a third film been made, which is still possible, I don't see Moriarty dying here. We know Sherlock survived, but why kill the best Sherlock villain?
Remind you of Iron Man?
Ech. I find this fight really cool and tense but… The ending was a bit silly. He saw Watson at the last minute. He could've simply held Moriarty until Watson ran over and they could've worked together. Instead he took a gamble with throwing himself off the balcony. I just find that to be a bit silly given how Holmes is a calculating man. He doesn't like gambling or betting on shitty odds (Which throwing yourself over a balcony into icy water, re-breather or not, is very shitty odds)
Watson reaction it's like when you see your crush kissing the one person that you hate the most… true history
I remember seeing this in the theater. The entire audience gasped when they went over the ledge.
I love the contrast of their reactions as they're falling to their deaths (maybe not so much Holmes).
I'll never forget where I learned the word "untenable".
When are they making another one? Holy shit.
The End?
What made this fight so juicy is how wild Moriarty's attack was in the beginning just looping hooks and then he smartened up and his attack became more focused. Ugh
i love it !! so brillant and classy.. a fight between two english gentlemans!!. only on their minds mostly.. but still beutiful.. imagine these 2 playing chess! .. a mind battle. of unimaginable proportions i say..
This was a better end for David Robert Jones.
wow
Is it ironic that the "boxing champion of Cambridge" looks like an older form of Connor McGregor?
Wait, but neither of them could predict Watson coming in? Wouldn't he have tried to break it up or threatened Moriarty with additional violence?
I find it funny how here holmes was willing to sacrifice himself to kill moriarty(ik he didnt die but still) while in the BBC show jim moriarty was ready to throw away his life to finish holmes
I wouldn't pick a fight with RDJ
