I've been saying The Rock should be Shazam since the announcement of the casting.
If you think:
-Superhuman build
-Ability to be menacing
-Childish charm
-Will draw people to see a movie most won't know anything about in advance
The Rock is the ideal person. Little Billy Batson yells "SHAZAM" and turns into Captain Marvel (the real one) and suddenly it's The Rock from Pain & Gain, all giddy when he sees how jacked he is. If it's not John Cena, I'd be disappointed by everybody not named The Rock.
Lastly; The Rock isn't a great character actor, not keen on him doing an Egyptian accent.

I would like to see the Rock as Black Adam and Alan Ritchson as Shazam! I feel this film could be a turning point for DC, as long as they break their "darker" story and just made a good superhero movie!
The only way The Rock can be Shazam is if Kevin Hart plays as Billy Batson.
I've not watched it yet but i gotta be honest. The Rock sucks.

The rock should not be Captain Marvel, He is good for Black Adam. Luckily, he picked Black Adam when he had the choice. A lot of people care about "Shazam" He always outsold Superman. DC just didn't like that.
