Once said he's from KOTOR, you showed Darth Revan, but I can't agree with it. Darth Nihilus has an insatiable hunger (but nobody knows what he looks like that still lives.) He feeds of the force draining it dry (like he did on the Cathar home world.) It would be a perfect fit if Nihilus is Snoke for that hunger as well, but also physically. Nihilus wasn't all that different than an average build from the games – minus his hight. True from KOTOR Darth Revan is the only one that we know if that was locked in a holding cell from the ancient Emperor of that time, and given his power of the force – master of both light and dark- I don't think Revan ever learned how to cheat death. To me personally, Nihilus seems more of an entity until he's consumed enough energy to gain a physical form.
