Game of Thrones has kicked off the awards season with a bang. The 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards were recently announced, and Game of Thrones walked away with a new record of 10 wins! Read on!

Deadline published the results of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which are announced a few days, usually a week, before the Primetime Emmy Awards. Game of Thrones had previously won a record 7 Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Season 7, (and already one for 2019 Emmys with 32 nominations,) but has now returned with 10 wins for Season 8. Let’s look at all the categories:

The highlight of the 10 wins is, of course, Ramin Djawadi winning for music composition again. Also, five of the ten wins are for “The Long Night”, which is expected to win more at the Primetime Emmy Awards scheduled to take place September 22nd.
