Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas Get Into Holiday Spirit Amid Family Drama

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Sophie Turner and her boybander beau, Joe Jonas, are getting into the holiday spirit. The lovebirds spent a day around town on Monday, December 20, taking in the sounds and sights as Christmas rapidly approaches.

The Jonas Brothers member shared a few snaps via his Instagram Story. In one clip, the duo watched as carolers sang some holiday tunes. In a separate snap, the lovebirds stopped to capture a pic of their shoes, with the words “club only” written on the sidewalk.

Turner and Jonas’ holiday outing comes after OK! learned the hitmaker’s family is growing tired of the Game of Thrones actress’ crude sense of humor, especially after taking shots at her hubby during the Jonas Brothers Family Roast.

“Joe thinks Sophie is hilarious and he loves that she’s not afraid to make dirty jokes, even at his expense,” an insider explained. But his straight-laced parents — his father, Paul, is a former ordained minister — are not as amused, the insider added, and the singer, 32, is “under a ton of pressure” to get his wife to zip it at holiday gatherings this year.

“Joe is stuck in the middle because this is just Sophie being herself. But with her potty mouth, things are bound to get awkward around the dinner table,” the insider concluded.

During the Netflix special, Turner mocked her hubby’s use of “purity rings” when he was younger. “Let’s talk about the purity rings,” she said, before blasting brothers Kevin, 34, Joe and Nick, 28. “For those of you who don’t know purity rings are worn to demonstrate that you’re abstaining from sex before marriage, and the Jonas brothers, they had them all of them.”

“I think we need to set the record straight here,” the mother-of-one continued, “No, the rings weren’t a good idea. Yes, as a gesture they’re laughably, toe-curlingly lame.”

The X-Men star and the Camp Rock alum were first linked in 2016. Jonas popped the question a year later, and the duo tied the knot during a surprise Vegas ceremony in 2019. Turner gave birth to the couple’s first child, daughter Willa, in July 2020.
