Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s relationship might be going strong, but it looks like the couple won’t be tying the knot any time soon.
The pair have been dating for more than two years and announced their engagement in October with an adorable Instagram post.
But despite being engaged for just short of nine months, the 28-year-old singer has revealed he is in no rush to marry his gal.
According to the star, the pair are enjoying being tourists in Europe at the moment, and are trying to find some downtime from their busy schedules.
Talking to the Evening Standard, the Take It And Run singer was asked if there’s any sign of a wedding on the horizon.
He said: ‘No, no. We’ve been trying to take some time off while running around Europe.
‘It’s been really exciting to play shows here in the summer, when people are out and about and the energy is top-notch. So right now, as far as down-time for us, we’re just being tourists.’
Joe has recently finished filming a stint as coach on The Voice Australia and will be heading to London this summer as Bruno Mars’ support.
His fiancee is also busy on set for the final season of the HBO drama Game Of Thrones, but managed to take some time off to visit her beau in Barcelona earlier this month.
Even though they won’t be saying their vows in the near future, the couple appear to be going from strength to strength, and even shared an adorable moment together at Kit Harington and Rose Leslie’s wedding.
When she touched down in Aberdeen the 22-year-old was seen FaceTiming her future hubby, letting him know that she had landed safely.
Dragging her suitcase behind her in one hand, the star clung onto her phone with the other and called her other half as soon as she’d left the terminals.
Talking to Marie Claire earlier this year she said: ‘There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you. But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life.’
She added: ‘It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever.
‘There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.’
