Sophie Turner became subject to Game Of Thrones trolling while attending an NFL match after showing her allegiance to the Chicago Bears.
The 23-year-old actress, who plays Sansa Stark, turned up for the NFL match on Sunday (6 October) in London which saw the Chicago Bears face the Oakland Raiders.
Sophie made her presence known by posting a video on the Chicago Bears social channels, saying: ‘To all the Bears fans, I’m here, I’m repping you, shout-out Chicago Bears.’
Unfortunately for Sophie, the Bears lost out to the Oakland Raiders 24-21, which prompted some casual shade from the winning team’s social channels.
Sharing Sophie’s video, the Raiders tweeted: ‘That game had a better finish than Thrones.’
Game Of Thrones came to a controversial end in May this year, sparking fan petitions which called for the show’s final episodes to be remade.
The cast have since been subject to many questions about the quality of season eight, most noticeably at San Diego Comic Con– which showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss pulled out of two days prior back in July.
Despite the backlash, the show recently picked up two Emmys on the night after a whopping 32 nominations, winning Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actor for Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister.
Focus is now turning towards the planned spin-offs in the pipeline, which include a show set in the Age Of Heroes and one revolved around Targaryen history.
Game Of Thrones is available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
