One of the most beloved and iconic superheroes of all time is back with a fresh, new take on the character for SPIDER-MAN™: HOMECOMING, debuting on Digital Download November 3 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™ and DVD November 20 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Tom Holland (Captain America: Civil War) stars as Peter Parker, who, with the help of his mentor Tony Stark (two-time Academy Award® nominee Robert Downey, Jr., Best Actor, Chaplin, 1992; Best Supporting Actor, Tropic Thunder, 2008), tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in New York City while fighting crime as his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man.

Directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car), SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING also stars Academy Award® nominee Michael Keaton (Best Actor, Birdman, 2014) as Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. Vulture, Jon Favreau (Iron Man franchise) as Happy Hogan, Zendaya (“K.C. Undercover”) as Michelle and Academy Award® winner Marisa Tomei (Best Supporting Actress, My Cousin Vinny, 1992) as Aunt May.

The SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Limited Edition 2-disc DVD feature an all-new 12-page comic and over 60 minutes of bonus material, including deleted scenes and a gag reel. Also included are four unseen alternate Captain America PSAs featuring Chris Evans, seven behind-the-scenes featurettes and a photo gallery. In the featurette “A Tangled Web,” Kevin Feige details how Homecoming came to be and its integration in the constantly evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Searching for Spider-Man” explores the casting process and what makes Tom the perfect Peter Parker as witnessed from his audition tape. Meet Homecoming’s adrenaline-craving stunt specialists in “Spidey Stunts,” as they crawl, swing and leap from great heights, and discover why Tom Holland rarely needed a stunt double. “Aftermath” features Kevin Feige and the producers filling in the blanks between the Battle of New York and where Homecoming begins. Explore Michael Keaton’s villainous turn in “The Vulture Takes Flight” and learn why he demands Peter Parker’s fear and respect. In “Jon Watts: Head of the Class,” fans catch up with the visionary director on the set, while he manages colossal set pieces, a massive crew and the daunting task of reintroducing one of Marvel’s most beloved characters. Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon (Ned) discuss the humorous realities of life with superpowers in “Pros and Cons of Spider-Man.”
The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray also contain The Spidey Study Guide, an entertaining pop-up factoid track with facts on the movie in relation to the comics that Spidey fans will love.

  1. Paul Rudd's Wikipedia shows he made an appearance in this but I'm yet to see it…did I miss something or was it cut entirely, only reason I ask is because it mentions that it was in the deleted scenes

  2. I believe the Vulture has been one of the best villains in the MCU! Keaton did a great job and the scene with Spidey, his GF and the Vulture in the car is one of the best cinematic scenes this year.

  3. Its quite interesting the different viewpoints of characters and really cool with Principal Morita having Jim in the background showing his background it would be quite cool to see other references to them in the films.

  4. Wow thanks for sharing the deleted scenes. I do agree with not including them in the actual movie, because these scenes didn't have much impact.

I'm currently excited to see Ragnarok, but I really can't wait to see Infinity War.

  5. I think all the deleted scenes were super cool but I feel like they made the right decision about getting rid of most of the scenes. I think we could have used a bit more Captain America( I may just be biases because all I really want to see is Chris Evans.) I do feel like some of the scenes could have brought a lighter tone to the movie, like the scene with all of Peter's classmates getting made at him for not being able to go to the finals but honestly this is still a super hero movie so we have to remember that we can't have too much teenage problems. I also wish we could have seen Miles Meralso. He's a pretty cool superhero and I hope in the future he becomes something more so that we can see Peter take him under his wings and teach Miles like how Iron man taught Peter. Other than that I think the movie was perfect and it was well worth seeing in the theaters twice. Can't wait for it to come out onto blueray.

  6. I am super excited to see more of Captain America's PSA's. I also think that Michelle and Peter will become romantically involved. I thought Tom Holland did a phenomenal job while filming this movie. In my opinion he is the best Spider-Man. This video was super helpful in understanding the deleted scenes. I saw them, but I didn't really get them. Thank you.

  7. just subscribed and i wish i had earlier! i loved this video and being a huge spiderman fan myself it's awesome to see these deleted scenes, altho it was probably for the best that some of these didn't make it into the final cut it was still really cool to see so thank you for sharing them! and i've always wanted to go out and get one of those funko pop dolls but i'm still recovering from the events of Irma and haven't been able to go out and get them. id love to have them tho.
