Some people are upset because the look and culture of diversity is not to their liking so much so that i begin to get a nasty tasty in my mouth. It's clear to me what their motive is all about. I'm am a massive Star Trek fan and yes some of it was a little silly but over all i loved it. Good acting, effects, dialogue etc. Very easy to get into after a hard days work.

The set Looks too dark, did Thomas Edison forget to invent Light Bulbs in this Timeline???? Also how many prequels to TOS are we gonna get. Its quite frustrating to see that nothing new as to the Future time line of Star Trek post Voyager is coming up. Its literally been a decade and no one seems to have the brains to think up good stuff for the Post Voyager Gen of series. About the series, it looks more like an action series than a Star Trek series. Its become too much of bang boom and kaboom then some exploration kinda series. I mean just look at any series till Voyager and count the number of times they would have had so much explosion and blood stained faces of the crew. Please dont make it a Game Of Thrown kinda series. Barbaric and Uncouth. As a Long standing Trekkie, this series just doesnt wet my appetite.

I HATE the new Klingons

I haven't watched it yet, but I wanted to…now hearing that I have to pay cbs though…I'm thinking I'll skip it. Why watch the premier when you can't see the rest. Shame on the money hungry corporation.

I'm still not sure about this series. There's a lot I don't agree or don't understand. I've watched all of the Star Trek series. So I have a lot of questions. My first question is, why don't they have color coded outfits? Each department should have it's own color. 2nd – Why do they have holograms for everything? Which breaks up constantly. 3rd- Why do the Klingons look and speak so different? 4th- Why does the beaming station look so prehistoric? 5th- Why send two women to fight alone on a ship filled with big tough Klingons? 6th – Why do they have the lead of the show betraying her captain like that? I do have more questions but like I said it's peaked my curiosity. I will be watching it. It is sad that you have to pay to watch it.

Agreed. I'm not a big Star Trek fan, and just casually watched the first two episodes. WAY beyond my expectations. Production quality is amazing. The story is easy to into and interested in. Pacing is great. I'm a really big fan of it so far, and don't get why people are shitting on it. Also, I just DL the episodes. Who the hell watches TV anymore??
