Here's an honest discussion of The Last Jedi. I want to love it, but it had issues…Thanks for watching!
I loved Rey’s parentage reveal. I think it perfectly shows how you don’t have to be a Skywalker to have a lot of power. I don’t think they intentionally hyped up Rey’s parentage, but the theories diffused through various social media platforms. I don’t think they hyped Snoke’s backstory at all. I’m so glad they killed him when they did because he was starting to feel like a villain who had no purpose.
This is why I love your channel. No bs reviews, other big channels are so afraid to talk bad about this movie
Good visuals + bad editing + unnecessary political commentary
About the dice: in Force Awakens, Han hangs them in the Falcon cockpit.
I think your disappointment in certain aspects is warranted and I agree with it. At the same time, I wonder if you were expecting something totally different? When I look back (and I’m seeing it a second time today), the trailer told us literally ‘this isn’t going to end the way you think’. Kylo and Luke both said ‘let the past die’. I think this sequel and new trilogy is ultimately about throwing out episodes 1-6. Yes, it happened, it’s history (just like the Jedi books that ended up on the Falcon anyway). This is setting us up for something completely new. Even before she met Luke, Rey already figured out how to tap into the Force. Leia too was never trained yet was able to use the Force to pull herself into the ship. Rey knew how to fight. She knew how to manipulate their minds. Just like the originals, she was figuring it out for herself. She really doesn’t need Luke. He was trained in the old way, and could derail her future if he interfered too much. I’m hoping that 9 will show Rey and Ben coming together to form something new. I suspect that is what Rian’s next proposed trilogy is about. He won’t have to be tied by the shackles of 1-6. He can literally pluck anyone, even a kid at a casino, to take on a new journey.
Overall I liked it. I do certainly have issues, things I would have preferred be left out or rewritten. Hoping to get a better feel for things after viewing #2.
The last Jedi = transformers
What i hated was that Everytime some one was gonna say something meaningful …. Leai would go and say that telepathically she knew already what they wanted to say and therefore the writers skipped that work day
“I ain’t never stole a mans horse I didn’t like.”

I don't think snoke is a sith lord, nor Kylo.
The Last Jedi is better than Rogue One, The Phantom Menace, and of course Attack of the Clones, but worse than Revenge of the Sith, The Force Awakens, and all of the original Trilogy.
Imo, the film did far more good than bad. I never cared who Rey's parents were, or who Snoke was. Finn's storyline was weak but I liked what it led to. Rey, Luke and Kylo Ren's stories were great and I loved the resistance being pursued by the 1st Order as well.
Respectfully I almost totally disagree with this review, the Finn casino subplot had issues but regarding Rey I loved the reveal that she was just a nobody, parents junkies that sold her.
Anything Kylo Ren, Luke, and Rey related was pretty good I thought. Everything else, poe, Finn, Leia, etc, all terrible.
I gave it an automatic like but I am going to have hold off on watching till i get the $$ to see it lol.
Thank you for giving a none spoiler title to the video when warning that it is a spoiler vid. I have seen some of the dumbest titles across news sites that give spoiler titles to their post for The Last Jedi. Even when they try to be vague like for The Walking Dead they will say "Fan heartbroken/outrage of character death" Then have pics of the character…smooth. In any case seeing this up makes me want to watch the movie that much more.
I couldn't disagree more. I think people's expectations let them down all the theories that was out there got shot down and people are hurt. Kylo is NOT the same at the end of this movie. Remember the beginning was right after TFA so he should be the same there. At the end he was the boss and is full on Dark. They are beginning to completely breaking away. No more master and apprentice. I also believe Kylo dies in the next one which will end the skywalker saga. And I'm a lifelong star wars fan. Great movie.
I went with 3 buddies to see TLJ and when we walked out the look on our faces said it all 😡😱😭😫
No more videos with the autistic kid.
Thank god a true review . We all wanted to like it, but thats no reason enough to lie to others or yourself which i think some are doing! It was rubbish… simple as that
Star Wars 9 – The Last Plot Died in The Previous Movie
Can't wait!
More seriously, I largely enjoyed the movie while in the theatre even if I couldn't avoid getting bored in the middle. The bigger problems arise when analysing what it meant to "Star Wars" as a whole. I'm afraid I partly lost interest in that aspect two years ago already. The omens were not got.
Not to be the sappy one and say it lacked a love story~but realistically speaking it was unbelievable that that many young people would be living in such cramped quarters with zero sexual tension. The love story and sexual tension was part of what made original Star Wars interesting and popular. I doubt it would have taken off without it.
