It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived. Set in Hawkins in the fall of 1984, the story continues as supernatural forces once again begin to affect the town. While the season will service the first season’s core cast and characters first and foremost, several new characters have been revealed: tomboy Max and her older step-brother Billy, a woman named Roman connected to Hawkins Lab, RadioShack manager Bob Newby, Department of Energy agent Dr. Owens and disgraced journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist Murray Bauman.

one of the best things to come out of this season were Hopper and El's relationship and Steve and Dustin's relationship, i will forever rewatch it

i liked that there was a episode only about eleven "Jane"
I enjoyed everything with Will and the Mindflayer. The actor that plays Will is excellent. I wasn't too fond of the 11 storyline, or the new bully. It seemed way to forced without enough depth. That one scene with his Dad didn't add much. Just a typical bully origin story. It was a good season, however I think it was weaker than season 1.
Season1 was good but season 2 in my opinion was better it’s more interesting and more drama
I was pretty disappointed how the shadow monster wasn't really in season 2 much although it's pretty cool how it'll return in season 3!
I dont know if it will be season 3 or 4, but for SURE the shadow monster will reopen the gate. Theres something about the upside down and that portal that needs to be destroyed for good, being it, the monster. no matter what that portal and debris filled alternate universe will exist for as long as the shadow lives. i hope that dustin and hopper arent affected, but the writers of stranger things do a good job of giving small clues for foreshadowing, therefore probably putting a potential seed in dustin and hopper, or at least implanting the debris of the world itself. i also believe at some point eleven will finally sacrifice herself, just as papa had once said. or maybe even a whole gang of people like eleven like collie would team up or so to defeat it.

I just feel bad for Dustin, over multiple episodes he was pretty much ignored then Max likes Lucas, and Dustin is alone until Nancy dances with him at the snow ball
