I never understand why people are constantly surprised/annoyed by cliffhanger endings. They happen every single time, for years now.

Kara's heat vision is blue but reign's is red. Anyone notice?

You guys need to read more of the old-school comics (like, late 80s – late 90s era, before all the constant reboots started up)…Kryptonians can and do bleed when fighting strong enough enemies…Darkseid, Reign, Maxima, Mongul, Lobo, The Eradicator, Cyborg (the evil Hank Henshaw one, not the Teen Titans one), and more have made Superman and/or Supergirl bleed during normal fighting (without involving the dreaded writer's crutch Kryptonite), and Doomsday shattered Superman's arm in one storyline (the Hunter/Prey storyline, not Death of Superman storyline), as well as killing him in a different storyline.

This episode is the first live-action rendition of Kryptonians (movie or tv show) to get this detail right (well, that I've seen at least).

According to the mythology Lilith was Adam's first wife and after she left the Garden of Eden she became demon (or she was a demon all along? Idk) and she's considered to be mother of all vampires. And I thought that that's why this guy called her a devil

Arrow season 3 Oliver gets severely hurt and everyone thinks he’s dead.
The flash season 3 barry disappears into the speed force for six months leading most of the characters to believe that he is dead.
With the pattern going on here and the fact that reign is supposed to be a female version of apocalypse, I wonder if they will do the death of Supergirl towards the end of the season.

She's bleeding because Reign is just that much powerful. Imagine the power of her punch to make an impact that can penetrate Kara's skin. We've never seen this before, because this might be the first time Kara faces an enemy that is literally much more stronger in raw power than her. She's Supergirl's Doomsday. And you know what Doomsday did to Superman.

Sometimes Kara is way too impulsive when it comes to fighting bad guys. She should've created a plan before flying into an unknown situation.

Legends is on at 9pm, Supergirl is on at 8pm. Mondays are going to be Supergirl followed by Legends just like when Arrow switched nights for the crossover. They're testing the various lineups for next season to see what shows work best on which nights. I doubt Arrow will stay on Thursdays next fall. It'll most likely go back to Wed so they have a better lead in for their new slate of shows coming trying to fuel the DC fanbase into whatever random "Jane The Virgin" style show they toss on to replace the series that are coming to a close. Also iZombie needs a slot for it's upcoming Season 3 or 4 or whatever number we're on now.

Supergirl will air for 4 weeks and then be replaced by legends of tomorrow for NINE WEEKS, this will ruin the show! Sign this petition to prevent that.

Why is the bleeding so confusing to you? If a human can make a human bleed from fisticuffs, then it stands to reason a Krypontion under the yellow sun could do the same to another.

Kara is a battery that is charged by the yellow sun. When that battery runs out of charge she essentially is just another human being that is vulnerable and can't fly. If that fight took place during the day it probably would have gone differently, although Reign might be strong enough that it would have just been a longer battle with the same result. I actually like this villain because Kara can't out fight her, she is going to have to out smart her instead.

She was bleeding because it's Kryptonian vs Kryptonian So Reign Can draw blood from Kara and Kara can draw blood from reign, reign is probably stronger because she was programmed to kill.

this was Kara's zoom moment that moment the hero is completely broken by the villain and her symbol destroyed, quite literally burnt away. This sets up reign so well, she has beaten Supergirl to near death without breaking a sweat. Kara is someone who beat so many other Krytonians including superman without bleeding the fact reign not just defeated but broke Kara so easily combined with the red heat vision makes reign stand apart from other kryptonians, that she is somehow more.
