Lockdown may well have been extended by a further three weeks – but that doesn’t mean you still can’t do a little bit of exploring.

And since we’re all stuck at home staring at the same walls, we thought you’d enjoy peaking inside someone’s property for a change.

Eriviat Hall, near Denbigh, is a stunning £1.65m mansion  which was rented out for a stag do weekend by Game of Thrones star Kit Harington.

The 33-year-old actor, known for his role as Jon Snow in the hit HBO series, spent a May bank holiday weekend at the property with a group of friends back in 2018.

Harington had previously visited the venue while filming for the show, according to the Mirror.

The actor decided on the top stag party package at the private estate over the ‘City Boy’ and ‘King of the Castle’ options.

The bundle packages cost a whopping £127 per person as well as the cost of the mansion itself.

The packages include a “choice of fantastic off-site daytime activities” including hovercraft racing, quad trekking a high rope course and zip-lining.

The 12 bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion, which sleeps up to 30, is currently on the market for a staggering £1.65m.

It can be rented out at £2,000-a-night for exclusive weekend use from the Strutt and Parker group.

Kit was said to have enjoyed a private casino night in the manor including games such as blackjack, roulette and three-card poker tables with hosts and croupiers provided.

The mansion, built in 1467, has undergone recent renovations, and its coach house is now equipped with a dance floor and private bar.

The grand dining room boasts bay windows, with views to the stunning grounds, while the drawing-room boasts an original fireplace with a log burner and a conservatory kitted out with a nine-seater hot tub.

Property expert Miles Shipside from Rightmove said: “Eriviat Hall oozes charm and its rich history is magnificently evident before you even set foot inside.

“But it’s been superbly renovated and transformed into an exclusive party venue fit for a king – or Warden of the North.

“Surrounded by beautiful parkland and open countryside, it’s easy to see why a household name would choose to host a private party here.”
