Sadly, Jon Snow was sent back to the Wall at the end of Game of Thrones for murdering Daenerys after she became drunk with power and believed she was going to liberate the world as she sacked King’s Landing.
So, Aegon VI never got to rule on the Iron Throne and remained simply baseborn with very few knowing of his true identity.
With the Jon Snow series in development, perhaps the character could be installed on the Iron Throne and the rule of Aegon VI finally ready to begin.
With Game of Thrones fans left frustrated by the end of the show and disappointed by the outcome, both this Jon Snow series and also House of the Dragon could be seeking to remedy the conclusion as best they can.
