The Technical Alpha podcast is a testament to the force of nature that is the LAGTV community. After years of dancing around the oft requested idea of a podcast, we collectively bit the proverbial bullet and launched ourselves in to the great unknown.

Hosted by Adam (NovaWar), Jeff (MaximusBlack) and Tabin (PanicSwitched), Technical Alpha aims to put our opinions on video games, movies, and tech out in to the real world where people may judge us feverishly.

As the name suggests, we’re not out to be the most glorious, glorious Nippon steel podcast – folded over 1,000 times. No, instead we just plan to talk in the general direction of our microphones and pray nothing catches fire. I guess we also hope you sort of enjoy it – that’d be nice, too.

  1. As far as my two cents go – I wouldn't be able to listen to the podcast without Panic being a part of it. Besides the fact that he's a fine person overall – I love my boys Adam and Jeff, but without him to bring a minimum of chill, every podcast will devolve into a civil war. Though I know Adam and Jeff's friendship is untainted by those shouting matches, personally my nerves can only take so much of it.

  2. Adam's whole story needs to be a separate video demo slice that you guys promote the shit out of like the JRE does. Most of this podcast is highlight reel shit, but the chemistry between the two of you telling that story is certainly a top-5 Technical Alpha moment. You need to be spamming that shit out trying to hit new audiences. It's 100% relateable to any random person and would be a hell of a foot in the door.

  3. I was a bit of a problem child, I was raised in a military household that was all for spanking, I was grounded so hard one time that I wasn't even aloud a bed, was a room with nothing but the paint on the walls.

But I have had my ass beat by a number of things, ranging from fly swatters belts, to small wooden paddles and even a full blown boat or once.

But it was always on the rear, and I never learned my lesson, my mom eventually gave up and stopped punishing me because there wasn't anything she could do to punish me anymore at that point.

  4. I didn't get hit all that much as a kid. Mostly because my mother, as a classically-trained musician, had a voice so loud she could basically Fus Ro Dah and have fully-grown men witnessing it shit their pants.

  5. Jeff, I can't tell you how many times I've been in that exact situation you described about getting a tool for your dad haha.

I could never find the damn tool and Dad would always get pissed and find it instantly
