As much as we wish Game Theory was just speculating about the latest episode of Game of Thrones, it’s actually the study of mathematical models of conflict and cooperation between intelligent, rational decision-makers. Yeesh. Hopefully, we’ll make learning about it just as nail-biting as Game of Thrones.

All of this is based on the assumption that the players are sane, rational people (as Nash presumably was at the time he wrote the paper). This vid may have been severely dumbed down, but I doubt that the current POTUS could work out what was going on here – way more than 140 characters, and its not something they discuss on Fox News.
