  1. I don't care what anyone says. Batman Forever was fine and Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey were great together in it, seemingly despite their differences. It seems odd to me that Tommy Lee Jones could not sanction Jim Carrey's buffoonery, particularly when he buffoons it up to 11 himself in that movie.

  2. The career of Leslie Nelson is an bizarre situation for my family. I grew up watching him since Airplane and The Naked Gun series. So it is hard for me to watch him perform in serious, dramatic roles. However, my mother knew Nelson from when he was doing serious project, so it is hard for her to watch him perform spoof roles. 😀

  3. The problem was Jim "STD" Carry compared himself to Tommy Lee Jones as an actor.
Tommy Lee Jones then told Carry, "No I am an actor but you sir are a BUFFOON. Jim Carry beyond his goofy rubber face is not an actor of any kind, he is a clown, buffoon and the kind of ass who would give someone Genital warts or Herpes and remain uncaring.

  4. Batman Forever was such an amazing event when I first saw it in August '95 and seeing these two very colourful villains together. It fit the film's tone as it was supposed to be incredibly over the top. It didn't surprise me that Tommy and Jim had their disagreements. It felt like Tommy took a sideline to Jim as soon as they had their first scene together. Was such a wasted opportunity for Tommy his Two-Face certainly looked cool but lacked so much substance and was killed off very anticlimatically. It's still a wonderful film to look at though.

  5. I never saw anything wrong with Jim Carry as the Riddler. Two face and his back story as an ex DA would also be annoyed. He has a vengeance he wants to fulfill and has to work and has to do it with someone different. I think we all could agree that two face was a bigger and more relatable villain. And the Riddler was just insane dangerous gibberish. Read the comics. It's not like that hasn't happened before. It was the other acting that made me dislike the movie. Carry wasn't over the top. Batman was crap.
