  1. I think thatDany or Jon will 100% kill the NK, and one, or both of them, will die in the process. I can see Jon being killed by Cersei's forces after winning his duel with the NK and Dany getting her revenge in the final act; it would be very bittersweet in my opinion. They could even throw in an essence of Lady Stoneheart and have her be resurrected by Beric Dondarian's kiss of life. She'd end up as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms with only one or none of her dragons remaining and a fatherless child by her side.

  2. History must repeat itself; however in the modern world of GOT, the children are hoping to right their wrongs this time. I believe it must be Starks since they were there as the first men, fought the children, the night king was a Stark, & the Starks made a pact with the children. Plus the Stark Bran the Builder made all the magical buildings, forts, & the wall to protect humans from the dark magic of the wights.

I think Danny can’t win the battle for the dawn because she doesn’t have the right combination of kingly ice & fire in her blood, but Jon does. Since the night king was born of ice & fire, it takes the same to defeat them. Such a poetic tragedy!!

  3. There are a number of rhyme schemes, if you go into detail. Latin popularly uses internal rhyme in prose–Specifically types of interlocking. ABBA comes to mind. So, if my brain has had enough caffeine and I manage to come to some kind of point…if history rhymes, you could potentially have opposite outcomes from the same set up.

Again, though, a Baratheon with a war hammer is on Jon's (Targareyan) side this time. It's a little more complex.

  4. I believe you're onto something… I was thinking something along the same lines except the end would rhyme more with the whole Nissa Nissa/lightbringer prophecy-theory. Melisandre will have one more duty (self sacrifice) to uphold in order to right the wrongs she has done… Maybe it's not light that needs to be brought this time because the story won't be exact but will rhyme… my 2 cents 🙂

  5. So I never watched this show but a friend talked me into it. I'm all caught up and there is two things about this show that I haven’t seen people talk about.

That is the fact the one character that died is still alive and one that is alive is actually dead.

  6. The amount of people who are thinking this theory is possible is enormous. Why would George develop these characters for more that 20 years just to kill them in the end?A reapeating story would be so bad.His bittersweet ending would transform into a tragic one by killing the two main characters.
    Btw,great vid.Keep it up!

  7. Assuming no more Starks die, and Assuming the girls will need to marry, who marry's who?
My only prediction is Sansa will have to align with a more powerful house then Arya, if for any reason the political gain, Sansa's astute in the politics, especially the south's politics two most political houses in the South House Arryn and House Lannister, neither will make her happy, but I think she have more sway with S.R. I dealy I like her tie with House Dayne, but they are only brief in the books. The only person I like Sansa with is Ned Dayne, or some nobody that she picks herself.

  8. Season 7 killed got for me. Still enjoyable but it is pretty much lord of the rings now. I would like to see Davos supporting gendry to the iron throne, jon NOT bowing to daenerys instead continuing robbs work leading winterfell to free kingdom. Intead a great alliance to overcome an overpowered villain jon could help theon defeat euron plus giving the islands to him and crowing theon as King that would be an unexpected turn of events. Jon + theon+ Yara against the Night King plus cerys vs daenerys. That would lead an opportunity for Davos to create an insurrection within to claim the iron throne to gendry. Basically this is got i fell in love for.

  9. My only criticism is that the blending of book and show doesn't fit well to predict Season 8. Many plotlines, happenings, etc were dropped completely from the TV Show. If you get the chance Gray, check out the Blu-ray content for Season 7, that way you can see how D&D have interpreted the canon and line up your theory based on that information.
