What is the Bittersweet ENDING OF GAME OF THRONES? The theory for Azor Ahai that is popular is him plunging his sword into his lover’s heart. Most people think it is Khaleesi. However, what if there is an alternate way?

  1. Your theory is full of holes. George RR Martin does not do what everyone expects him to. Everyone is expecting that Daenarys will get pregnant. It won't happen. It's too predictable and boring. One thing for sure is that all Lannisters, including Tyrion, will cease to exist.

  2. They continually push the idea that high valerian is gender neutral what if the prophecy is about danny plunging her sword into jon…aegon…? The highlighted that he has already taken a sword through the heart for his people. just a thought.

  3. Between Viserys and Joffrey, I think both George and the HBO crew are very much opposed to any sort of endorsement of inbreeding.

It also needs to be noted that there is an entire season left, yet many of the conflicts that could have extended the plot were resolved early. Littlefinger was killed off, Euron Greyjoy retreated, and Dany and Cersei are effectively going into Season 7 as allies.

What that tells me is that a good deal of the remaining plot will be spent delving into the nature of the White Walkers, and especially of the Night King.

  4. This theory is never going to work.
    #1 reason,

Unless there is a massive jump. Because it would take -8-9 months for this baby to be born. The Night King is currently past the wall. He will hit Winterfell in 4 days. And he will diffently hit the South in less than a month. So there is no time for no baby to be born. I honestly think Jon will win the Great War and the Cercei War but he'll die in Daenerys arms.

  5. As much as it has been repeated that Martin does not like predictable endings, everyone assumes that once again a guy will be the end game as hero, which is the most typical and predictable in storytelling. If we have to say goodbye to Jon or Dany it should be Jon who ends up dead there by making the end different than traditional storytelling. Jon, Tyrion and Dany all killed their mothers coming into the world. I would hope Martin would come up with something else other than having Dany die spitting out a kid. That would be a really stupid ending for a female character as amazing as her. Perhaps Cersi can die that way if it is required that one more female be sacrificed on the altar of childbirth.

  6. I personally think that Jon is Lightbringer, with Rhaegar as Azor Ahai and Lyanna is Nissa Nissa, which would somewhat rectify the seemingly bad decisions Rhaegar made during Robert's Rebellion. I also believe that the bittersweet ending will have one of them sacrificing themselves to win the great war.
As i think that Dany is going to be pregnant with his child, it feels like Jon is going to die and will take the Night King with him. Dany may or may not die in childbirth as well.
I believe that none of the dragons will survive the great war, as magic is probably going to disappear completely by the end of the series. Similarly to the Lord of RIngs, our heroes might have to fight against a more mundane threat (Cersei, Euron) after winning the great war, in order to bring peace for the realm.
Tyrion might want a more democratic system instead of what they have now, so that may also factor into the bittersweet ending, with Dany's and Jon's child as the last ruler of the 7 kingdoms who paves a way for a democracy.

  7. Daenery said she would kill Tyrion with fire if he betrayed her, he is a Lannister and I see him going down in flames. Jamie is unable to save Cersei from Arya's knife but avenges Cersei death by killing Arya. Daenerys is sailing away back to Easteos with a baby bump, one dragon and Davos at her side. Sansa becomes Lady of Winterfell and pretty much everyone else is dead. The Night King is defeated by what ever is under the catacombs at winterfell that Bran the Builder put there just in case, and now the Kinght King knows where it is. Probably a sword wield it by Jon Snow a battle to the death for all.

  8. It's definitely metaphoric but Light-bringer is not Jons widge. Jon himself is Light-bringer. Jaime is Azor Ahai. Jaime will become Azor Ahai after he kills Cersei completing both the prophecy of Azor Ahai and Cersei's prophecy. He will pull Jon from a fire after Dany goes full on mad queen and burns up everything including Jon. Jon will survive the fire anyway cos he is a Targ and he will go on to defeat the Night King whilst on fire. A song of Ice and Fire

  9. My theory is danearys will die giving birth to a baby girl I believe this is why people have said she can't have children.
The bittersweet ending will not be the same as the book thou I think jon snow the hound & jamie will all die trying to save the life of drogon euron greyjoy and the golden company will also be taken out however jamie lannister will actually be the real hero in this scene.
Sophie Turner will be the only surviving stark member of the family Tyrian lannister will bring up baby lyanna, sam and gillian will have a baby.
Bran will have a crown placed over his head by a whitewalker will rise from the dead and spend the rest of his life in winter leading the whitewalkers to protect the human race which will change the future of mankind.

  10. The series will end with Dany dying in child birth and Jon will die killing the Night King and saving westeros…. As a result he will fulfill the prophecy and become the Prince that was promised , becoming a legend. Jon and Danys children ( I believe she will have twins ) will go in different directions. Arya who will become lady of the North after Sansa dies will take one and raise it to become a great warrior and one day maybe even rule over Westeros and Tyrion who will be left as interim king will raise the oldest twin as his own to one day become ruler when he or she is of age. In the final shot of the series the last surviving dragon ( Drogon ) will be shown flying around Kings Landing then flying towards the camera roaring. End credits.

  11. I actually want that theory to happen. With Danny dying and Jon becoming the king. and the dragons not being gone forever. Either way I don't want Sansa to die. And i also want The hound to win at the cleganbowl thing…

  12. Maybe the death of magic
    Is the bittersweet ending
    After defeating the night king
    With all dragons dying
    bran dies too

So no magic will be found
    Meaning that both Jon (undead)
    And
Dany (unburnt) die in the end

And people will live a normal life

  13. Well said but you are forgetting that Sansa is a bitch and gives herself way more credit then she deserves. She should be the lady of like a shit brothel or something her knowlage of anal sex is the only thing that stupid whore is good for.
