There are many theories surrounding the fate of Jon Snow & Daenerys Targaryen. Now that Game of Thrones Season 7 is almost here we are getting even closer to finding out how it all ends. Fans have speculated for years about which characters will survive the Series or not. George R.R. Martin has said that this story will have a bittersweet ending so we could see most of our favorite characters die. Keep your theories, in 1993 GRRM wrote a letter in which he stated only 5 characters will remain alive untill the end, tyrion, daenerys, jon, bran and arya.

People who think Jon will live are in denial. Jon is on borrowed time. Once his purpose is fulfilled, he will die forever.
I'm pretty sure that Jon will be new King. From bastard, to Lord Commander, then â™” King in the North, and at the end King of Seven Kingdoms.. I think GRRM have that in his mind from beginning. Dany could possibly die.
Jon and Dany marry, but I think the vision means that Daenerys dies giving birth to Jon's baby and is reunited with Khal Drogo and her first son Rhaego. Then, Jon is the King and takes someone else as a bride, but he can raise his son wiht Dany.

I think Jon will survive and Dany will die. Every character that has died, have done something bad, except Ed (the reason why I think he's still alive), and Jon have never done wrong to someone. I love Dany, but she didn't have mercy in Mereen, with the Dickon and his dad, and she is kind of greedy, the only reason she has taken those cities it's because she wanted their armies to take the iron throne, not to "save people" as she says or as Jon Snow has been doing.

This is a Song of Ice and Fire. I believe that Sam Tarly is telling the Story to Aegon (Jon) and Danny's child. Both have died giving their lives to save humanity.

In my opinion Dany will be killed by The Night King. Or killed and ressurected by him as a Night Served White Queen, so afterwards Jon's true identity (Azor) would be discovered by us. Then he might gain a huge among of power to kill NK. Buuut if he does it, Dany who are not Dany anymore may die alongside with all White Walkers (cause NK made her his servant), or, will become our Dany again but in a very weak, almost dying state. And so if Snow kills NK then at the same time he could accidentally damage/destroy Bran (if Bran truly is a NK of course). Either way some main characters (yup, more than one) are gonna die in this Winter Battle in my opinion.
I don't think they'd kill both. If someone was going to die I could def see Jon being the one. He's already die before. I think the idea of him becoming the next night king is cool but it would be sad
Bittersweet would be Jon and Dany having to stand on opposite sides because their ideologies differ, even though they love each other. Now that's something I'd like to see…

I think Danny will die because she must in order to defeat night king, though Millesandra will raise her and her and John will rule together with a son to raise in waiting.
I think if anyone has to temper light bringer by being pierced in the heart it would be Milsandra. She said that her purpose in Westeros was not over that she had one more thing to do. I think that is her purpose, to bring forth light bringer for John/Argon to become the Night King slayer and not Dany
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Targaryens could only have children with another Targaryen e.g Danny's child with Drogo was deformed. So how could Rhager have kids with Ellis and Lyanna
I mean, maybe Daenerys is Nissa Nissa, but instead of dying when she's stabbed she turns into the Night's Queen. And 'Lightbringer', the sword to end the war, is actually the obsidian that the Children of the Forest used to create the Night King. (Or Jon could be Nissa Nissa?)
They'll both die. Jon Snow to protect Dany and she'll die at childbirth giving birth to her and Jon's son – who will be Azor Ahai, who will later on revive dragons to destroy the Night King and the army of undead.
