It’s not often that an actor gets to say goodbye to a character on his own terms, especially when it comes to big-budget superhero action-fests. More often than not, an actor’s movie flops, or he decides not to come back for the sequel, or merciless producers kill characters off to make room for more exciting heroes. But in the case of Wolverine, Hugh Jackman got the chance to go out with a bang in 2017’s Logan. And while the ending was pretty straightforward in a lot of ways, there are definitely some lingering questions both within the story and in the real world that are worth discussing. Pop your claws, light a cigar, and watch out for spoilers while we test out some theories to try to explain the ending of Logan…

  1. Yeah i mean logan was a good movie, i wont deny it being regarded as one of the best from many, i wasn't over phased by it, it just felt kinda depressing, i know thats what they were going for, but i mean, a lot of characters got shitty death scenes like Charles, and logans was straight forward and didn't really seem to have a great affect, idk just these major characters dying in such small scale situations, idk.. dont even know what to think

  2. i would love it if they could get hugh jackman to play as wolverine in the 4th avengers film… i know rights and what not mean that the universes are separated, and both the xmen and marvel cinematic universe have their own scarlet witch and quicksilver… but i still think it would be great… hugh jackman has said that he would've continued to play as wolverine had his character have been allowed to be part of the marvel cinematic universe

  3. Wolverine is a prime example of a man who lost everything. His childhood was taken from him when his parents were killed, driving him to fend for himself. He and his brother were turned into weapons of war and forced to spend their early years killing for the benefit of others. He was tortured in an experiment that stripped him of his sanity. His love was killed in front of him and his memories of the life he led was washed away, stripping him of his identity. Even the new family he found in the X-Men was ironically killed by the professor who spent his whole life trying to unite humans and mutants. For the following years he struggled to survive in a world where mutants are going extinct and the closest thing he had to a father figure was progressively losing his mind. And then he had to watch that father figure die in his arms, at the hands of a clone created from his DNA. And to top it all off, when he was finally given a chance to start a new life with his daughter, he was brutally killed.

This movie just shows how deeply Hugh Jackman brought the character to life over the last 17 years. God bless everyone who worked on this masterpiece of cinema, it is fucking legendary to me.

  4. After the original x men generation years of movies after movies i seriously doubt there will a more fun generation of x men movies, my advise would be, scrap x men movies for now and just leave it on to the new Fox series, and let Fox Network now just crap all over x men franchise just like they did Fantastic 4 💩💩💩 There's nothing more to be done with the x men movie wise… Maybe in like 10 years from now, yeah, but not anytime soon… That would be my point of view…
