Also love how selmy hates and respects jaime…hates him as a person but you can tell he admires him greatly as a swordsman
Goddamn I love Robert baratheon hahahaha he was PERFECT as a character! 😁
i love me some barristan! "even now i could cut threw the five of u like carving a cake!"😂😂😂😂😍
22:18 When your best friend sends that one time you sent a nude to someone else to your gf
I love how, even at his age, with all those men between them, the Hound still draws his sword — AND LOOKS UNEASY.
Ser Baristan didn't deserve to die in an alley, but thus is the fate of good men. Good men deserve better than they get, and evil men deserve much worse.
The Irish actors are brilliant in thrones they have the deepest richest deliveries.
The greatest soldier in Westeros killed by sons of the harpy. Doesn't seem right.
Barristan Selmy was, contrary to what most people think, a weak, cowardly man. He put his own sense of honor higher than the well-being of the people of the realm that he was supposed to protect as par the extension of his duties as a knight. He never dared disobey the sometimes clearly mad orders given to him by the various authorities he served. He tried to make some sort of ammends for his sins at the end of his life by serving Daenerys, but I suppose you can say that it was too little too late.
Absolutely shitty way to kill him off
ser barristan selmy Is the only link to Jon's past. I hope that he lives in the books… At some point after Jon Snow learns about his birth, He will want to know who his Father is. Selmy is the only one who knows Rhaegar on a personal level who happens to still be around.
The show killed off all the old characters so they can take all the time they want
I gladly would have traded Grey Worm for Ser Barristan.
you know what? fuck selmy. he watched everything aerys did, he watched him burn the starks alive and rape his wife every night but "muh honour". everything the mad king did is the fault of his Kings Gaurd because they allowed it, all of them except Jaime Lannister. if Selmy had been the one guarding Aerys when he said "burn them all" millions would have died
Prime Barristan with armor would have slaughtered those fools without a scratch. Even at 60 years of age it took ten guys to take him down.
What's the intro music to this video?
I've never loved a man.
That is a lie.
I know he believed in her but there were/are better rulers to die for now.
Robert's laugh omg lol
and in the serie killing her! why?? bad D&D
How did a fucking cunt like Meryn Trant that no one cares about get more screen time than Barristan.
That was great I really enjoyed watching that. Cheers!
And he is not dead, fuck the show!
Sad
Even old and with white hair hes still an ultimate killing machine, Its sad they killed them off. One of my Favorite Chars with the most dumb death scene.. He should have died in an big Battle against the Lannisters and fucked joffrey with a sword right up his ass.
I've never read the books. Who are these gold-masked people and what is their agenda? Are they pro-slavery?
I think we are going to have another hor'dor moment with Jamie where they reveal what the 'mad king' was actually talking about
In all the deaths of game of thrones this was the only one that did not add anything to the plot. That is why he never dies in the books. But in the show, I guess they thought it was time to retire the character before they lose the actor from an untimely death. It was a bad call. As bad as the changes on the Dorne sub-plot.
I have a lot of trouble watching that alley scene. I love Grey Worm and can barely stand the thought of him dying especially given his extra character development, but watching Barristan die to some cunts with a knife at that old age… it's great and heroic to watch, but oh so painful.
Why the fuck did he have to die I hope they do a prequel where we see him in his prime
You are best up-loader by of this prog by far
PLEASE we need more Ser Barristan in the spinoffs, "Ser Barristan Begins"
i hate how they killed him off, one of the only reasons why i would prefer the books over the show is cuz he's still alive, damn the show for killing him off like that, damn them!
Why do I feel like Ser Baristan has "taken the eight"? I mean, the way he was smiling while Robert said that feels like he was thinking "Oh yeah, I remember THAT!"
"I am a knight i should die a knight" fucking badass
he died like a knight, just as he wanted to. Protecting the one he swore to protect. A death he would gladly take rather than dying in a castle somewhere, living like a civilian.
