The Fate of Tywin Lannister – Game of Thrones

Tywin was kind of a nice guy in the earlier episodes.

Say what you want about Tywin, but he was a great man in his own way and by far the most accomplished man in The Game of Thrones saga.

Tywin says "Your grace" like "fuck you" in the best possible way.

I don't know why I didn't hate this character and feel more comfortable that no one but Tyrion killed him.

Game of Thrones started going downhill when Charles Dance finished his arc. He was the true antagonist. No character has ever matched his presence. Darth Vader would bend the knee to Tywin Lannister.

I wonder how well the story could've gone if Tyrion actually spared Tywin, an alternatie storyline would be awesome.

I don't know if you can call Tywin a bad guy, he simply did his duty to either protect his family or the realm.

Tywin could of easily took the crown from Joffrey. No one would dare oppose him.

Tywin and Arya's scenes are some of the best and Tywin actually liked her lol.

I think The only ones who actually learned anything from Tywin were Cersei and Tyrion. I mean, she became the fucking queen of Westeros. And Tyrion became Dany's right-hand man. They became very good strategists, and they made names for themselves.

I like Tywin. He has a great story, he's strong, intelligent, and he's also an amazing planner. People view him as evil, funnily enough.
I dont. I actually admire him. He's ambitious as hell. He created a name for his family. He became the most powerful man in the world.

I would be so curious how Tywin would deal (or try to) deal with danny and the invasion of westeros. Especially with the 40,000 screamers and 5-8k unsullied. It'd be interesting since they took the captial of the lannisters (the rock) I wish Tywin were still alive such an amazing character.

Only three things have ever made Twyin Lannister smile, his wife before she died, Arya stark at harrenhal and Rigor mortis.

I can't stand the amount of praise that this guy gets, along with the people that like Ramsay, and Joffrey for their evilness. Tywin Lannister is a detestable character (which I credit Charles Dance who does a awesome job with his acting), and I don't get why some of you guys like him

Coolest character on this show. Hope Tyrion has a Simba/Mufasa moment so this actor gets more screen time.

Tywin may have been (and showed more than enough proof that he was) a complete twat of a father, but damn if i did not find immense joy when he put people in their place. Especially Joffrey and Cersei.

Arya fooled everyone with her "boy" outfit, Tywin see through her disguised in seconds.

If only Tywin had a chat with Tonman sooner. Taught him more than Cersei ever did within 5 minutes.

My favorite character on this great show. Absolutely committed to his family, despite his aversion to Tyrion.

One of the most talented actors that i know . The first time i saw him was in "the golden child" , again playing a villain 🙂 . PS: the writing here is a thousand times better than in season 7 .
