The Hound didn’t chop the wood so aggressively simply because he was pissed off at his brother, the world, or himself. It was also a subtle clue to his biggest fear. The thing that forged his identity…until now… Fire.
Some fans still want to see Clegane Bowl. Others wants to see him move on. Both would be awesome in their own rights.
But either way, I hope to see the Hound overcome his fear of Fire. Imagine if his destiny was to weild Lightbringer?!?!
