The Last of Us is HBO’s greatest hit of 2023 so far and is already setting up new records. The show is following a trope very closely followed by shows like Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon, making morally grey characters, then building them up to be likable, and finally killing them off in the most shocking way. However, the latest monstrosity in the show, the Bloater, has shot to fame on its arrival in Episode 5, and has achieved somewhat of a ‘big daddy’ status according to some.

But the suit itself was really heavy, and according to actor Adam Basil who plays the character, he could barely manage to see anything through the 40-80 lbs suit. He told Entertainment Weekly:
“I could see enough to see my first guys that I had to get to. I come over to the top. There were a few people running at me. I had to knock them [away]. It’d be a left swipe, a right swipe, a left, and then I smashed this guy. He went flying into a fence. They’re all on wires. So they’ve been propelled by air ramps. There’s the pressure of timing. You don’t want to mess it up, because if I mess up, these guys have to do it again.”
