The Mandalorian has brought us Baby Yoda and for that we shall forever be grateful, but after going through season one without putting a foot wrong thus far, the latest episode to come from the Star Wars spin-off has produced a mind-boggling blooper.
During Chapter 4: The Sanctuary, which landed on Disney+ last Friday for all the fortunate Americans lucky enough to be able to subscribe to the streaming service, there was a hefty gaffe in the background of a conversation between The Mandalorian (played by Pedro Pascal) and Omera (Julia Jones).
Honestly, how this made it to the final cut is a mystery almost as WTF than any rogue coffee cup in Westeros.
Fans noticed a boom mic could be seen at the top of the screen while the two characters chatted away.
The episode in question was directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, whose legendary filmmaker father Ron Howard was responsible for Han Solo prequel, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The Black Mirror and Jurassic World actress shared a behind-the-scenes look at her time on The Mandalorian set on Instagram.
‘Welcome to Sanctuary 💙 Directing Chapter Four of @themandalorian was a wild adventure — you can stream it now on @disneyplus,’ she captioned the shot.
‘I felt very protected and it was an incredibly collaborative environment,’ Bryce enthused of her experience to IMDB.
‘I felt very safe to say, “I don’t have a full understanding of that. Can I ask you some questions about that? I need to get your perspective. I need this because I’m not really getting it.”
‘Being in a space and working with people who understand that and want to facilitate that, want to empower me, it was awesome. It was just so awesome.
‘I was freaking out the whole time. It’s Star Wars. I was excited. I am excited. It was, yeah, unreal.’
The Mandalorian is available to stream on Disney+.
