Ned starks bones have been returned by peytr baelish, with the help of tyrion lannister on season 3 if im not mistaken could have occured on season 2 aswell. Nice act of tyrion he is a good guy.
My guess is ether Geoffery ordered Ned's body to be burned or threw into Blackwater Bay or Varys took it for some reason but honestly if they intend to keep Ned dead then it's not relevant… Benjin Starks part to play in this is to keep Bran safe, to tell Bran to get a move on with training his powers and to tell Bran about the enchantments in The Wall at Castle Black which is the same wards put on the tunnels what went under the tree The Three Eyed Raven was staying, i think there are 2 wards, 1 to stop The Night King from using his powers and the other to stop any of them passing, The Mark put on Bran's arm i think will allow The Night King to use his powers to crack The Wall from Eastwatch where he will most likely attack since that's where The Wall dips lower into the Bay OF Seals, it's the most vulnerable area of the wall for The Night King to crack and Bran just went to Castle Black.
Benjimin Stark was turned back into half human by The Children Of The Forest so they probs explained everything to him, i have no doubt when the time is right he will join the fight too, that was his task to push Bran in the right direction. The Wall was obviously not built to last but JUST to buy time JUST like the fire ward that was placed in front of the tunnels under the tree to make The White Walkers run around instead to buy time to help them escape, they can use this time to use the dragons to drop small boxes with wildfire on The White Walkers then to ignite it at a fair distance, they would need to surprise them with it, but first they need to get it from Kings Landing or maybe Sam finds out how to make it, your reaching though as to why Benjimin joined The Knights Watch, why else does anyone join? to help… because they knew there was a greater threat out there.
Benjin will lead Jon's crew onto a secret Artifact(a horn) they need to subdue the dragons. Jon's crew is racing, because Bran accidentally gave the info away, to get it so the Night king doesn't get it and make them into ice dragons.
Really hoping Arya finds them on her way home, her and Sansa take it down to the crypt, Ned's crypt is has an inscription about Jon being a legitimate Targaryen. But Sansa can't tell anyone because the North doesn't like Targaryens
Does anybody know what happened to Cat and Robb's bodies??
what if they brought benjen back so he could save John at the gorge where the white walkers will most likely try to cross over?
Wait. Hasn't little finger brought back Ned's bones and given them to catelyn in the show
So I just watched all Bran Stark scenes of season 1 and at the end of season 1 it shows Bran and Rickon in the crypt saying their father was down there. So maybe his spirit is there waiting for his remains. Also Rickon foresaw Rob and his mother's death when he was talking to Bran. Maybe he foresaw his own death as well?
If Allan Reed has Ned's bones, that would be a great excuse for him to come to winterfell and, while doing that, tell Jon the truth about his mother
what happened of Robert Baratheon's surviving bastard? last that i saw was when he kept rowing the boat to escape Mellisandre and Stannis Baratheon..
I think Benjen might have helped Lyanna run away with Rhaegar which lead to Roberts Rebellion and loss of many lives, so took the Black to attone.
POOF
it will end with jon probably dying a 3rd time . I think he will b going through the tomb of winterfell and the kings of the North will awake and job. will 2 . with giants .soilders of the kings and Jon will lead the 7 kingdoms with 4 dragons 1 also burried under winterfell. and will b the greatest ending ever. spoiler. grrm. has stated he loved Lord of the rings…. what you think harpy???
I'll bet they are with Hollan.reed.
Why there are dead men inside the wall during the 1st season the one that attacked comander mormont?
Question: it was stated at some point that the magic of the wall is linked to the lord commander, and that they can allow entry to certain individuals it would normally bar. So my question is, as far as the magic is concerned, who is Lord Commander? Is there a ritual, presumably known by the Meister, that fixes the magic? Is it the act of voting? Is it tied to the cloak? What, as far as the wall is concerned, makes the Lord Commander the Lord Commander? And who is the current Lord Commander as far as the wall itself is concerned?
Where are Rob and Cats bones in the show/book?
Now that jon is the ruler of winterfell, maybe its jon's duty to get the bones to the crypt when the bones arrive? Maybe jon learns something while he is at the crypts?
Benjen's peculiar case could be a precedent for another character to follow. Jon Snow/Targaryen might need to make some pact with the Others that leaves him half-human, half-Other. This way, the transformation is not out of the blue (pun absolutely intended).
Like in some premiere episodes, like when Tywin melted down Ice, I hope season #7 starts with the Winterfell doors opening and some silent sisters accompanied by Catlyns personal guard enter quietly carrying the chest holding Neds bones. Now that the Starks hold Winterfell again. Now, Jon Snow has a reason to enter the crypts and find his own tombstone. I had hoped season #5 and #6 opened similarly with Dire wolf foot steps in the forest, then stepping into a river to drag a body out of the cold waters. So LS would be introduced… Course nothing like that happened.
You really seem like a nice guy
Benjen Stark is proof that Starks are immune to manipulation by The knights king. I truly think that is why Starks are interred in the crypts so they can return and be the army that oppose the white walkers
Well, if you subscribe to the theory/prediction that Bran is going to go south of the wall again which will break it's anti-WW magic, then Benjen might just be a there to trick Bran into believing he is safe and to make sure he actually does go south.
what did Ned Stark murmur before his head was chopped off
I would like to see an episode of why Catelyn hated Jon after so many years. He was never a threat to her or her children. He seemed never to disrespect her in any way. Even their last scene together while Jon was saying good bye to Brandon, you could feel the hate from her. Then it was revealed in season 2 she prayed for him to recover from an illness as a child. What gives?
if bran crosses the wall, the white walkers would be able to too
Can u address that idea
Or some other way
Iike he can become the Night King and then take over and destroy the walkers
I feel that he will be the key of John's war against the white walkers in some way
In the earlier episodes "little finger" brought Caitlyn Stark a chest. That supposedly contained "Eddard Stark", I believe this solely because she fell next to the chest crying so he should be back in Winterfell.
His bones are actually a secret Targaryan.
Pretty sure that howland has the bones and will bring them to winterfell so Jon can lay them to rest. then when he opens neds tomb, he finds a letter or something by ned telling jon about his parents
