What about Peter Sellers (for Peter Ustinov) in The Pink Panther?
Wow how did you forget to include Viggo Mortensen as Aragon in LOTR?? The prior actor was shit
Originally, Hugh Jackman wasn't director Bryan Singer's original choice. Originally Singer wanted to invited a plethora of good-looking teenage boys to some pool parties which he intended would double as casting calls…
CUT. CUT. Edit that, they can't handle the truth.
The one that comes to my mind is Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings. Stewart Townsend was originally cast and replaced after four days. I can't imagine anyone else in that role now!
You can add Christopher Plummer over Kevin Spacey to that list!
Jaw end all xnudiq neighborhood thing interest cake shop connect governor tire.
Oh my God. Russel Crowe as Wolverine is one of the worst things I’ve ever heard. That’s like casting Jack Black as Batman.
How did they miss Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now? He replaced Harvey Keitel.
Interesting video. Had no idea about any of these except that of Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry.

Can't believe you left out Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings. They already had someone set to play Aragorn, but at the last moment decided he was too young. They then asked Viggo. He accepted and flew to New Zealand two days later to begin filming.

You ment Bale as Batman. Right?
Great replacements, those movies could have sucked without those certain actors playing the roles.
Bro you don’t even mention Michael J Fox
all good choices.. but think they could of picked James woods to be wolverine!!
No Gene Wilder for Blazing Saddles? For shame.
While I love Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Christian Bale, and Ed Harris in their respective roles, I honestly could see them being replaced by other actors. However, Clint Eastwood, Michael Biehn, Gena Davis, and especially Hugh Jackman are the only choices for their respective roles.
So no…fast and furious?
If Sinatra had played dirty Harry no one would even remember now.
Interesting, not even my co worker, who’s a walking almanac, knew that Sinatra was supposed to be Dirty Harry
Hmm, Chris Farley as "Shrek"? Nope.
Richard Crenna as Colonel Samuel Trautman in First Blood.
Kirk Douglas walked off the set after creative differences with Sylvester Stallone and director Ted Kotcheff.
Crenna was hired over the phone in LA on a Friday.
On the following Monday he was freezing his ass off in British Columbia in his iconic beret and uniform as Colonel Trautman, all without a single rehearsal.
Thanks god we have Eastwood
John Lithgow was the replacement for Christopher Walken in Cliffhanger
Christopher Plummer instead of Kevin Spacey in "All the Money in the World"
