Hello Sweet Summer Children! In Today’s video we will explore the possibility of the Leader of The White Walkers, The Night King. Being Valyrian and also the fact that he indeed was waiting for a dragon! The Thumbnail shows the Targaryens may have been inspired by the Children of the forest when they made the 3 headed dragon in a circle as their standard. Let’s discuss the Origin of the White Walkers! It seems Dragons were the first men but What do you think? are the white walkers Valyrian ?

  1. What me confuses is that the valyrians never had interest in the lands beyond the wall. They flew around the world but have never spoken or cared about the ice things in the north … there is also nothing in the books.

  2. When I heard that Kit Harrington said he cried when reading the script I could only thing of what could make him cry for his character. He has lost his family, lost people he loved has died, loved and assuming is about to have a baby…after all that he hasn’t cried….I’m thinking what could make Kit’s heart hurt for his character….losing a child or having his child raised like him or without him in some way. So what would solve all the problems with the sacrifice (either by death or handing over a child be it little Sam or his and Danny’s child)…..could you take that into consideration and work you magic with everything you know about GoT.

  3. why he didn't invade 300 or 280 years before, when Balerion and other dragons came to Westeros? or 200 years ago, when there were many of them in Westeros? or any time before Dance of Dragons 😀

  4. Absolutely, the Night's King sees the dreams. I'm sure he controlled Ramsay. Ramsay died when he was no longer of use to him. I personally believe that just as there must always be Stark in Winterfell, there must also, always be a Targaryen at the Wall. Jon sent Aemon away. We don't know for sure how it happens in the books, however, it was imperitive for Jon to leave the Wall in order for the Night King to finally breach it. Im not sold on Targs being the first men though. If these oh so powerful and rich and resourceful Valyrians were fighting the Children, I think the war would have ended much sooner. Also, the Valyrians were known for their amazing infrastructure. (This is one of the clues that Tyrion is a Targaryen btw). The other argument would be why not kill them with dragon fire?

I do know that there is some tie in with the walkers, the Starks, the Crasters and Targaryens, but also the Greyjoys. That whole what is dead may never die, but comes back…that is just not a coincidence.

The Nights King does not want Jon to know he is a king When Jon discovers and accepts who he is, he will become an immense threat to him. Rhaegar knew, or discovered that there was more power in his line than any other Valyrian. Aegon knew it too. I always wondered what it was that made him decide to conquer Westeros. The answer of course had to be to protect it. There is something else though, he also came to understand that the other half of the balance of power lie in the North. Stark. I believe Rhaegar found out and knew three things; he was not the Prince that was Promised, he had to have another heir and that heir had to combine fire and ice. The blood of the dragon and the heart of Winter. So, is the Night King a Targaryen? Yes, but, he is also a Stark.

Thats my story and Im sticking to it ! Great video, I give it ☆☆☆☆☆

  5. I agree with you that the NK was waiting for the dragon and that the fall of House Targaryen may have set the wheel for the WW to awaken and move South. However, I don't think that the NK was a Valyrian himself but rather hes from the same "progenitor" as Valyrians. WW like the NK and Valyrians may have both originated from the Gemstone Emperors of the Great Empire of the Dawn. That would explain all the special powers and Dany's dreams of the gemstone emperors in book 1 urging her to "awaken" the dragon inside of her.

  6. Nettles . Dragons have a higher intelligence and savage nature. Seems they can tell something about our characters magically. The nightking pedigree could be either . I think he has power over anything dead and can reanimate it even dragons regardless of bloodlines . The nightking seems to be the Stranger in the mortal plane . Is the lights champion the dragons ? Or the mortals . Tasty juice 😀

  7. Dany's dragons are NOT the only dragons. While crossing Old Valeria/Smoking Sea…just before the stone men attacked and Mormont contracted the grayscale…Mormont and Tyrion saw a large dragon fly overhead. Theories anyone?

  8. I think the black structures are Paleo-Asshai'i vs Valyrian. They were probably based in Eastern Essos to the NE and including Asshai. They sailed east and landed on the Iron Islands and what's now Old Town and established outposts. Perhaps they showed hostility towards the Children of the Forest and started the First War for the Dawn. I seriously doubt the stories about the colonization of Westeros are accurate.

The Shadow Lands to the NE of Asshai are almost like Mordor in description. It almost seemed like the Night King (or someone else like Sauron) at his most powerful also had demons and dragons and other hideous things(depicted as sculptures Vaes Dothrak) in his army. There are at least one or more abandoned cities within the Shadow Lands. I wonder if the land was once lush and fertile and negative forces from the period's great war left it uninhabitable forcing the surviving inhabitants to flee and migrate to the Valyrian peninsula.

  9. I'm sorry to say but this was not very convincing. It's an interesting point that the valyrians might have been among the first men on westeros, and sure, could be a possibility that the night king is of valyrian descent. But either he is kept at bay through the targaryens, or he wants to have a dragon. Sensing dany's presence he should be – again – kept at bay; instead, he colludes an elaborate plan to snatch her dragon and destroy the wall. So, why didn't he do this with earlier targaryen kings? There has to be something else, that makes the night king come now, which has to parallel the situation before the last long night. Maybe a child that through targaryan and stark blood is of both valyrien AND a descent of the old men?

  10. I like the way you think. The Targaryens only ruled for a brief period of time (300 years). What kept the White Walkers at bay for all of the centuries before? They are advancing for the first time in over a thousand (actually two thousand years) as the story opens. The answer to this question will provide the answer to a lot of the questions in the book.

  11. The Night King is either a Stark or a First Man. He is not Valyrian, he did not have white hair or Valyrian features at all. The First Men have absolutely no connection to Old Valyria, dragons, fire or magic.

  12. I always thought NK was a Stark but you made some good points. Why does NK always have connection to Bran if NK is Targaryen? Why does NK want to mark Bran and knows when Bran is spying on him via his ravens? Why does NK get into Bran's thoughts and dreams? Yet NK seems to always have his eye on Jon Snow even before we knew for sure Jon was really a hidden Targaryen. Perhaps both Starks and Targaryens are key. Maybe a Targaryen must sit on Iron Throne and a Stark must always be at Winterfell. Both may be key to defeating NK. I also think Jon will be the prince who wa promised and lightbringer will be either the sword Dawn or else a sword left by his father Raegar and found in the Winterfell Crypts. Great thought provoking video. Thanks for posting.

  13. Stark's has first men's blood, Targaryen's has Valyrian blood. I believe Daenerys was the baby who born at Tower of Joy, Jon is Eddard's from Ashara. So Valyrian + First men's bloods are done. This the definition of ice and fire, this is why Jon and Daenerys are Azor Ahai together.

  14. I like this theory. It could really be that the first men are Valyrians. Other old architectural features seem to have similarities with Oldtown. But… if Valyrians are First Men and Starks are descendent of the First Men, would the Starks be descendent of Valyrians? Sounds weird, but… What do you think?

  15. The wrench in the Night King being able to ride the dragon is the fact the dragon was dead and no longer the same dragon.  Night King resurrected him and then was able to ride him.  So it may not be that the Night King would be able to ride him if the dragon was alive.

  16. Speaking of fractions… what if… the  1st Men were Stark's who BECAME Valyrians!!!

What if the Children  SPLIT a Stark in two and created two separate halves the Night King and a "modern day" Valyrian? One half was ICE and the other half *FIRE*.

In the books the Night King is supposed to be other worldly beautiful and we see that the Valyrians are also other worldly beautiful. They are the opposite sides of the same Stark coin. However, both sides have become immeasurably more powerful than the original.

The CotF didn't just make the Night King but they created the Valyrians at the same time. The Night King was tricked. The essence of the 1st Men that the Children did not like was banished to the North.  Then they manipulated man (Bran) to build a magical wall and created "legends" about "bad men". Kinda like how Robert created the legend that R stole L and raped her… a total LIE!!!

I think that the Ice Men got the short end of the stick since they can not reproduce (well as far as we know). Starks and Valyrians (besides the Children) are the only being who have "magical DNA" This could be why Jon is so important. This is the first time we know of in the show and books where a Stark and a Valyrian have reproduced … Jon is a supercharged 1 st Man. He may be the only one who can put both sides back together…

Look again at the cave paintings you see a dark "planet" and a light "planet"  separated but are coming back together like an eclipse.  I think that the Night King has waited THOUSANDS of years for the planets to align again as they were when he was created in order to undo what the Children did to him. This is why they are hiding out on the Isle of Faces and from their caves trying to manipulate everyone to do their bidding.

*ALL CROWS ARE LIARS*… Bran is being lied to and manipulated.

  17. I dnt think he is a targ! My biggest thought is him to be a ancestor of the starks during the first times. Hard to really explaing but from the start of GoT the whole build up of the fight between jon and the night king and the whole sang of their always has to be a stark in winterfell and all thy has happened to the starks and especially jon and how the night king looks at jon makes me 5hink he is a stark. But I think their is something really simple we are looking over thts obvious!

  18. awsome theory, well in line with the other theory that the Valyrians' birth is somehow a consequence of the birth of the white walkers, a way of the universe to balance things up, and it explains the title of the saga: a song of ice and fire,
    everything fits!
