Girard sounds incredibly outdated. "Human Nature" is barely even a surviving enlightenment-era notion at this point in time (outside conservative circles), so the idea that human beings are harnessing some proclivity to violent behavior is kind of hollow without some substantial evidence in 2017. Too bad this whole video is premised on his ideas. Hopefully, I won't have to wait forever for the final video, as the obsession with Rick and Morty is killing my interest in this channel (this is not a knock against R&M btw).
