  1. Met him personally in Savannah, Ga. while filming the LongestYard.. Really kool dude as he took time to chat and sign autograph. Recently saw him on a 'Loud and Fast ' episode at his ranch in Jupiter Florida. Looked a little aged.. like most of us as the years pass!! Hang in there buddy!! Thx. Jeff Brown.. So. Carolina

  2. The same reason he should’ve never been a star in the first place. He can’t act his way out of a paper bag, he is a psychopathic ass, who was rumored to be a murderer. Yes you read the last part correctly. The movie studios supposedly help cover it up. Look it up on the internet you can still find on there. He was a complete asshole to people. Look up the johnny Carson episode where when he was suppose to sit on the couch quietly he threw a glass of water on the other guy. He was suppose to be the perfect looking man but In reality, he went completely bald on the top of his head during gunsmoke days. He has worn a rug ever since. No one visits him anymore at his place and pretty much just a sad lonely old man.

  3. Why don't you hear from Burt Reynolds anymore? He's 84 fucking years old….. and looks ALL of 81 years old. He looks like shit nowadays. To the point I think he needs a cane to get around. Not that that's a bad thing, I mean he is eighty fucking one years old. That and he's not that great of an actor. It's not like he's up there with the Anthony Hopkins' of the world….. who is also up there in age (79) but he is capable of moving around unassistedly and can actually act and not have to rely on his looks, something Reynolds definitely did….. and at 81 it's kind of impossible for your looks to land you roles anymore. The role of the stereotypical older, wise, grandfatherly figure in movies generally go to excellent actors who are on the closing leg of their accomplished acting careers. Reynolds was never a great actor though. Not that I can recall. Deliverance is his only real claim to fame and IMO it is a mediocre at best movie, definitely overrated. Burt Reynolds was the Liam Hemsworth before Liam Hemsworth…. a dude who gets roles for their looks alone despite mediocre at best acting ability. Generally it is actresses (Megan Fox, Halle Berry, Blake Lively, Jessica Biel just to name a few off the top of my head who are horrible acting-wise but excellent eye candy) who get by on looks alone but there are some dudes….. Burt Reynolds is one of the original such dudes. You could say Chris Pine is another such actor, but he has landed "success" by being fortunate enough to land the gig in the Star Trek film series. If it weren't for that Pine would be just another "pretty" male actor slumming his way through movies. Channing Tatum could also be on this list. His movies suck ass but chicks go to them solely to look at him despite his shit acting. So the movies generally break even or make marginal profits for the studios so they keep recasting him in roles because they know horny chicks will at least come out to see the movie solely to look at Tatum….. despite the movie being complete shit.

  4. Man you should check again about deliverance being his break through That’s what’s wrong this world now , leaving out facts , but I guess if everyone new everything we would BLOWN HOLLYWOOD ( and perhaps Washington ) SKY HIGH by now ! So whatever .

  5. Fascinating that he had 'creative differences' when he was doing 'Boogie Nights', could any of it have to do with how he ACTUALLY was alive in the 1970's and the makers could not take honorable notice of that?!
