Wasn't there a scene in the books during a warg dream that showed a flying lizard rising from the ashes of winterfell after it was burned by ramsay? Seems like significant evidence that something there was or is a dragon there.

OR i just thought of this like he was saying ed stark had a tomb built for jon snow too but like they haven't found it yet and there was dragon eggs down there and ed stark put them in jons tomb with a note as well explaining what he is and what happened to his mother
