Check out this latest theory that covers the whereabouts of Ned Stark’s Bones, Jon Snow and Lyanna’s tomb and the secrets hidden in Winterfell’s crypts. Game of Thrones Season 7 theory.
Will we see a Stark reunion? Will Arya return to Winterfell or will she continue on her quest for revenge.

This was great, I would love Howland Reed to have that reason to travel to Winterfell and bring the bones of Ned home….but in the Battle of the Bastards episode in Season 6, when Rikon was being carried into Winterfell after Ramsey killed him…didn't Jon say, bury him in the crypts beside my father? Then that would mean somehow Neds' bones are already in the crypts of Winterfell. I'd like it to happen the way you said though. Arrya's "kill list" is getting shorter and shorter but I think she will add Little Finger to it….and she should.
What version of the theme song is this???
I think the crypts are going to end up en flambe, possibly courtesy of dragons or wildfire. They can't risk an army of undead Starks.
There is nothing hidden in Lyanna's tomb. The big reveal will be when they open Ned's tomb to place his bones there. There would be no reason for anyone to ever open it unless Ned was dead, so its the prefect failsafe for if he and Howland Reed were to die. Ned telling Jon that he will tell them when they next meet, even when going to kings landing where he knew he would likely die, means there will be a letter explaining everything along with whatever evidence needed to back the claim on Jon true linage.
Ok I have a serious Q&A the weights already outnumber the North. NOW they have ice spiders .polar bears. And now giants. And possibly a ice dragon. so what does this mean for westeros . they have to stop fighting each other. y.because every person the weights kill turns into a white walker and doubles their army .. so what happens . I believe the only chance for Jon and the rest of westeros. to have a fighting chance is for jon.. to go down the crypts and awaken the kings of winter and their army's. …yes they have dragons . Yes they have wildfire. Yes they have dragon glass. but the key to the end game. Will be hidden through lyannas.tomb and yes the sword light bringer. but to even the odds will be to awaken the kings of winter and their army's.. !!! BOOM!!! endgame!!!!
Lightbringer. Or, alternatively, at the very bottom level of the crypt is the prison of the Great Other
This video should be named "Game of Bones."
What if Jon, since he knows to burn the bodies of the dead so they won't rise as white walkers, goes down to the crypts to burn the bodies? And that's how he discovers his lineage?
You and last harpy ate the best channels 👐👐
Terrific idea! This would be an amazing way to introduce a highly anticipated character, while finally putting Ned to rest .
The Walking Theories > Game of Dead Theories??
I don't think we'll see Howland Reed before season 8, I have a sneaky feeling he's chilling at the God's Eye. I could see Meera returning with the bones after she goes home to tell her father about Jojen, only to find out he's gone on a greensight quest to the God's Eye. She returns the bones to Winterfell and informs the Starks Howland is at the God's Eye, which will lead Jon and Bran straight to him, and right where the night king wants Jon.
The night king is Rey's father.
Neds bones are buried at Winterfell. They buried him there and noone mentioned finding anything…yet.I also think something will be in there. In Lyannas tomb…Anything.
I think the bones are already at Winterfell, when Rikon is brought to John after the battle of the bastards, he says "Burry him in the crypts next to my father"
GREAT THEORY!!!! I was reading the prologue is ASoS, AGAIN, and noticed an interesting passage…Old Maester Cressen is thinking that Stannis is King of nothing but "A SMOKING ROCK in a great SALT sea". Well, that would point to Dany being THE PRINCE THAT WAS PROMISED. Unless she wasn't actually born on Dragon stone?? Tin foil. Possible to foil but I have watched videos of Ashara Dayne being her mum. What do u think?? Cheers from Alabama!!!💟🐺🐉
I haven't read all the comments so I'm sure this has been brought up, but I started thinking about King Robert down in the Crypts with Ned, upset that Lyanna wasn't "buried in a hill under the sun and the clouds". Ned says she's his sister and belongs at Winterfell, but now I'm thinking that Ned rushed her home and sealed her up with whatever "possesions" of her's and Rhaegar's that will prove Jon's heritage before Robert could A)Bury her in King's Landing (or nearabouts)or B) Be present in Winterfell when she was entombed in her Crypt.
This would be an awesome reunion!!
don't you think that bran will be the first to tell Jon his secret?
Good point. I could see Howland and his people having Ned's bones for now. I hope he's w/someone safe at least who respected him.
Although I'd love to see your theory with Howland Reed telling Jon the truth become true, I really don't think they will include it in the show in that way. Maybe it's just because of my cynicism but I feel like the storytelling has gone downhill since they surpassed the books
what else could be in the crypt?… John's crib dragon egg maybe? All Targaryen children where given a dragon egg right?
