My fav dragon game is is dragon sim online. It's about living the life of a dragon you level up from 0 to 1000. You can either play singleplayer or multiplayer. But if you choose multiplayer, just watch out to spawnkillers.

Legit though, we could really use a game, open world (obviously, where's the fun of flying if you don't have amazing scenery to fly in?), where you start as a game as a hatchling fresh from an egg, and have to survive in a tough and unforgiving place, slowly growing larger and more powerful. Something like the age of fire series by EE Knight, but in a game format.

Fire Emblem Awakening is true, you can play as a dragon but in Fire Emblem Fates you are a dragon. Like your actual avatar and not just an extra character. Again you transform in battle but..still :p
