If you think you’re too old to play with toys, one trip to Toy Fair will cure you of that misguided notion. The annual gathering of all the major toy manufacturers took place over President’s Day weekend, and Yahoo Entertainment was on the scene documenting the biggest entertainment-related releases for 2019. Here are the must-have toys we saw:

Toy Story 4 (Mattel)

They may be two decades old at this point, but Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story crew look positively brand new in the early Toy Story 4 trailers. And Mattel’s Basic Figures line has replicated beloved characters like Jessie, Rex and Slinky faithfully in plastic form — so faithfully that you half expect them to start talking to you. For the record, one of them actually does! The Toy Story Ultimate Walking Buzz Lightyear walks and talks like a real Space Ranger. We’re basically living the movie now, folks.
Toy Story Basic Figures retail for $9.99 each; Toy Story Ultimate Walking Buzz Lightyear retails for $29.99. Available Spring 2019. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Lego Star Wars 20th Anniversary Sets (Lego)

The grandfather of all licensed Lego sets turns the big 2-0 this year, and the company is rolling out redesigns of classic Star Wars models to celebrate. These five sets are taken from the original and prequel trilogies, including Anakin’s Podracer from The Phantom Menace, the Clone Scout Walker from Revenge of the Sith and Boba Fett’s Slave 1 from The Empire Strikes Back. Each kit also comes with the classic minifigure from the original set and a 20th anniversary plate.
Lego Star Wars 20th Anniversary Sets retail for $19.99-$119.99. Available Apr. 1. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Funko

No Toy Fair trip is complete without a visit to the Funko booth, and the pop culture giant didn’t disappoint with its 2019 display. The Pop! family is about to get seriously crowded with the addition of figures from such movies as Ghostbusters, Shazam! and Jaws (check out the oxygen tank in the shark’s mouth!), and TV shows like The Office, The Simpsons and Community. Funko is expanding further into sets via its new Pop! Town line that pairs Spongebob Squarepants with his pineapple under the sea and Scooby-Doo with a requisite haunted mansion. Plans are also afoot for more cereal tie-ins, Pez dispensers, keychains and all other manner of Pop-tastic merchandise.
Visit Funko to stay informed on all future releases and visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Game of Thrones: Viserion and Drogon (McFarlane Toys)

Ice, meet Fire. Formerly brothers, Daenerys’s dragon children, Viserion and Drogon, are headed into the final season of Game of Thrones as foes. Re-enact their sure-to-be-epic battle with these handsome McFarlane-made figures, which allow for wing movement and customizable posing.
Viserion will be available in April and retails for $25.99; Drogon will be available in June and retails for $27.99. Visit Amazon for pre-order information.

Jaws (Ravensburger)

Steven Spielberg’s shark-tastic classic finally gets a board game with some teeth in it. (Although we still have affection for this goofy ’70s version.) Hewing closely to the plot of the film, the action starts on Amity Island before moving to the deck of the Orca. The change in venue is accompanied by flipping over the board, and entering a new phase of gameplay. And here’s our favorite feature: You can choose to play as the trio of shark hunters… or the Great White itself.
Jaws retails for $29.99. Available June 23. Visit Target for pre-order information.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (Hasbro)

For obvious reasons, Hasbro had to keep their Avengers: Endgame and Star Wars: Episode IX toys hidden from view. Fortunately, Spider-Man’s next adventure was prominently displayed, showing off the different gadgets and suits Tom Holland will be modeling in Far From Home, including that stealth outfit, web-slinging armor and a sweet set of web gliders.
Spider-Man: Far From Home toys are available in the spring. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Barbie National Geographic (Mattel)

For Barbie’s 60th birthday, Mattel partnered with the leading name in science to produce an assortment of dolls and playsets focused on nature-related careers. Individual career dolls include Polar Marine Biologist, Wildlife Photojournalist and Astrophysicist, and the Butterfly Scientist Playset comes with an insect collection and study equipment.
Barbie National Geographic dolls retail for $14.99 each and the Butterfly Scientist Playset retails for $29.99. Available Fall 2019. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Disney’s Frozen Sven (Jakks)

Hop on the back of Kristoff’s furry reindeer sidekick… provided you weigh under 70 pounds, that is. The legs on this 2-foot tall toy may be stationary, but Sven’s head can move, and he also makes adorable carrot-chomping noises.
Life-sized Sven retails for $99.99. Available September 23. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Disney Villainous: Wicked to the Core (Ravensburger)

(Photo: Ravensburger)

The second installment in Ravensburger’s Villainous game series allows you to take on the roles of some of the Mouse House’s best villains, including Robin Hood‘s Prince John and Snow White‘s Evil Queen. Race to see which evildoer can complete his/her master plan before your rival-in-badness.
Disney Villainous: Wicked to the Core retails for $24.99. Available Mar. 3; visit Target for pre-order information.

Fortnite Battle Bus (Moose Toys)

All aboard the Battle Bus! This 13-inch replica of Fortnite‘s signature mode of aerial transportation can carry all your Moose-made figures from the blockbuster video game. It also helpfully adds two more characters to your collection: Funk Ops and Burnout.
Fortnite Battle Bus retails for $39.99. Available Summer 2019. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Aladdin Genie Interactive Figure (Playmates)

Still a little freaked out by Will Smith’s giant blue genie from the live-action Aladdin? Bask in the nostalgic glow of the classic animated version via Playmates’ interactive toy that features sound effects and phrases from the 1993 favorite. Be sure to rub the golden lamp after you make your wish… it may just come true.
Aladdin Genie Interactive Figure is available Spring 2019. Visit Amazon, Target and Walmart for pre-order information.

Sleep Talking Boomer (Funrise)

If you prefer your interactive toys to be a little more cuddly, snuggle up with the furriest resident of Nickelodeon’s upcoming animated film, Wonder Park. Keep Boomer from snoozing by squeezing his paw and talking to him. He’ll respond by opening his eyes and sleepily saying over 20 different phrases, promptly melting your heart.
Sleep Taking Boomer retails for $24.99. Available Mar. 1 at Walmart.

24-inch Godzilla Figure (Jakks)

Size does matter when it comes to Godzilla. Measuring in at 24-inches tall and 36-inches long, this giant lizard truly is the king of all monster toys. Multiple points of articulation make it possible to strike all kinds of monstrous poses.
Jakks’s 24-inch Godzilla Figure retails for $59.99. Available April 2019 at Walmart.

Westworld Select Series (Diamond Select Toys)

These Westworld action figures definitely look like something to us. Diamond’s beautifully detailed first wave assortment includes Dolores, the Man in Black and Robert Ford. But we’re all about that replica of the mind-bending Maze.
Westworld Select Series retails for $149.94. Available Fall 2019. Visit Diamond Select Toys for more information.

(Photo: DC Collectibles)

Why own just one Bat-Family member when you can collect ’em all? On their own, Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl and Robin are great additions to any bookshelf. But their true powers are activated when you bring them altogether, forming a splash panel-ready heroic tableau.
The Bat-Family Multi-Part Statue retails for $80 each. Available March 2019. Visit DC Collectibles for pre-order information.
