Varys Targaryen Theory, Game of Thrones, ASOIAF Theory,
==============================================================================================================
Varys is one of Game of Throne’s most mysterious characters, and even as he continues to play a leading role in the TV show, we‘re always learning about new elements of his character. One such element may be that Varys is a Targaryen and that he secretly shaves his head so people can’t see his silver hair. Let’s review all the evidence that suggests this theory is true in an in-depth analysis of Varys being a Targaryen.

  1. Why do people keep conflating "king's blood" with Targaryen blood? In the books it's clear that the blood of any king will do for the magic Red Priestesses do. It's why Mance Rayder's baby is swapped with Gilly's and sent away.

    Just because Targaryens had More offspring scattered around doesn't mean that they are the only royalty that qualify.

    That said- I am completely convinced that Varys has white hair being from Lys and possibly shaves it to avoid attention to him or his bloodline. I am mostly convinced that he is a Blackfyre and has been manipulating the realm in order to start another rebellion/coup. I am more than a little convinced that he's not even a Eunuch. Just, that whole king's blood thing bothers the heck out of me.

  2. I have a theory that Varys, Illirio and Ser Jorah mormont are Rhaegar's targaryen people and their only goal is to keep dany safe and help her gather the army she needs to take westeros and then Rhaegar will return…Just think!!! Varys and Illirio are working together and they have some secret conversations even in Kingslanding, Illirion is a targaryen supporter, he kept Dany and Vyseris safe, arrenged the Dany's wedding with Drogo so that she can have the army she needs, he gifted her with 3 dragon eggs that have turned to rock, really? was it just a gift? or it was a weapon? Why 3? Why not 2 or 4? because the dragon on targaryen's bunner has 3 heads…And at the same time introduces to Dany Ser Jorah mormont who follows her until now, and he was Varys spy, Varys has a key-potition in Kingslanding so can have a closer look to Rhaegar's enemies, but after the moment with Varis watching his self in the mirror and how you explained it…i think that Varis could be Rhaegar targaryen who uses a ruby to change his appearance just as Melasandra does…

  3. I'm totally convinced that he is the son of Aeris Targaryen, the Prince who actually lived in Myr (where Varys was born) but is most famous for drinking wildfire… I think that is has always been Varys goal to sit in the small council as he knows that secretly that is his rightful place.

  4. He wanted to poison Daenerys in first season… Yeah he was in Small Council but still. If that would be his blood he wouldnt order that. He would say he did and it failed or something like that or he would convinced king no to do that. He even came with that informations about wedding and child

  5. To add to this, Varys has a similar naming style with Daenerys and Viserys, using a 'y' as an I sound. We don't know his surname either. Lastly, he insists on people not calling him lord, which might show how overprotective he is of himself

  6. He has kings blood. He could be a blackfire. But I'm more interested in who's voice he heard in the flames (why not just say 'lord of light' like mel said), what it said and why he needed to hear it. Also the second red priestess isn't sure about his loyalty to dany, which would make sense if he's a blackfire. Also why cut him instead of just using some of his blood if it was just about hearing the voice…. it wasn't, cutting him ended his bloodline by doing so. If he is a blackfire it would make sure he wasn't fit to rule himself and won't oppose dany. To be earnest, yeah there is a lot we don't know about him….. but I don't think he will matter in the end… he was a witness of some key info he heard that night… that's all. And Dany most likely will hear the truth next season anyways. I think the guy that cut him is like the dany losing her baby/husband moment… planned. Like the second red priestess said, the bad happened for a reason to get them to where they are now. Quaithe is part of it as well and hiding her identity for a reason.
