  1. my theory is that harrenhall castle will be rebuilt to the great castle it was during harren the blacks time and be used as the final defence spot. this time a dragon protects harrenhall instead of burning it.

  2. Winterfell will fall to the Night King and the survivors in the North will make their last stand at the Eyrie.

However… it's not as impassable as people think. It's possible that Wights are actually more maneuverable than Humans, they can reach places natural inhibitions would prevent. I get the feeling the final stand will be at King's Landing, all that Wildfire has to be used…

  3. Hmm…bit of science, the water formed the new ice in winter come from the water in the area, hence water level of the area dropped, if the ice melt, it should go back to normal, unless the night king carries buckets of water with them

  5. I don't buy this theory. The Vale is a remarkable strategic stronghold, it's based on the battle of Thermopylae with the Spartans probably. But here are my issues, firstly, mountains are not an issue for specialised units. Take for the example, the Wildlings who crafted climbing gear and techniques to scale up and over the wall, the wall is a slippery, crack able, straight verticle structure, in an extremely cold location, thats hundreds of feet high- far more treacherous in my opinion. So impenetrable? Perhaps not.
Secondly, Bronn himself says that he believes with a few good men and some good equipment he could penetrate the Vale with ease. This could just be boasting, but at the same time it's believable because it does seem possible.
Thirdly, The Vale could easily fall victim to a siege, especially if Winter has Come. Livestock will die, springs will freeze, vegetation will die- the Starks make it very clear that Winter is a huge threat in itself. How long can humanity survive trapped in the cold, constantly fighting day by day against an enemy that is superior and not effected by the cold at all, living off spoiled food and rations, against an army that can raise the dead and has unimaginable numbers and magic of it's side? The only reason the Vale has never fallen victim to a siege is because it's far too costly to keep a siege going and soldier morale high and the reward isn't really worth the price- the Vale isn't exactly good for anything besides being good to defend. It offers nothing else really. Humanities enemies don't care about the cost, nor the time waiting, nor the weather, nor need supplies and much much more that makes them the perfect siege army. Not to mention, dead people don't need morale to keep them going. You don't have to keep dead people happy to continue your siege.

  6. It does also make sense, since Jon Snow has already left castle black and now wouldnt have to die if the white walkers would run it over. As Jon is the son of ice and fire, many believe that he will be the one to finally defeat the white walkers, so combined with the fact that he left castle black, your theory does really seem plausible…
