I have been a fan of the Walking Dead since day one and started to read the comic because of the series… The comic is intriguing and very fun to read, but as a tv fan, it has been dwindling down. Season seven was alright. JDM as Negan made me stay with season seven and its utter boring filler eps. Season eight premiere left me underwhelmed and it just left me high and dry…. I was expecting more tbh. I'll still watch it of course but I must admit, walking dead is becoming stale😔

There's definitely a class of people easily confused enough not to know the difference between actors and the characters they play. They're called Walking Dead fans.

This recap made the previous season sound better than it was. The pacing is glacial, with everything being needlessly drawn out that I'm thinking of quitting.

I have to disagree about Ocean Side being one of the worst episodes of the season. The walking dead is very mediocre with some potential to get good.Which it usually falls short,or makes an excellent episode every few years. OceanSide was very special because it reached a Godzilla level of bad that was actually quite funny and was entertaining enough to rewatch.

Pump on point, I'd give my left hand to be that Negan on the comic strip 😬

Last season had some highlights, but was very slow and plodding. Honestly hope this season is better.

I loved this season. I know 7 was not a lot of people's favorite and a lot couldn't watch it because of how depressing it was. But the thing is, this season had so much character development for the whole group.

Finding out what the group is really fighting for. Something more and bigger then then themselves. Truthfully, the group needed to be taken down a peg. They were way too cocky in season 6. And for me, it was that much more satisfying to see Rick be brought back up and realize he had to fight.

Watching out of habit now and to watch Phil’s stream and of course you. Hope this years promise of mayhem revives my interest.
