You are wrong. Not everyone hates it. I love what they do with Eugene. It is 110% in character for him and he is the character with the most interesting development atm. I highly enjoy watching his path to the dark side X3 Also I love the actor. It is a show I want to entertain me and I feel entertained by everything they do with Eugene =)

Another theory, instead of Negan it will be Rick that will hear the tape. Eugene has mostly been a flake, except for a couple of moments, this will show that can never be completely trusted. He will betray any person or group to save his own ass. He is an asset and a liability to anyone that will take him. Will he end up dead after the war because he can't be trusted? The communities need someone like him to rebuild society.

I don't think twd writers are smart enough for this. I think this is like when everyone thought Daryl wad using Morse code to tell Rick where the sanctuary was because there was a Morse code poster in a house in Alexandria. Sometimes we give them too much credit

Simon finds it, Both Dwight and Eugene are in trouble due to Dwight being a traitor and Eugene for not coming forward and telling Negan/Simon about it. Thus cause Eugene to be forced to team up with Dwight to avoid death.

Negan will eventually stumble upon it in a future episode.

The reason father Gabriel gets sick is to show Negan how to use walker guys as weapons and taint there weapons

Eugene was 100% ready to tell Negan about dwight. The only thing that stopped him was dwight and other saviors walking into the room at that exact moment, and Eugene is too much of a pussy to rat dwight out in front of him

I am old enough to have had a recorder like this. Usually the red button and the one next to it (which is usually the play button) are depressed to record. The record button was not pressed in your photos

1) Dwight is unafraid of the walkers – does he know Darrell's plan? 2) Eugene kept it playing in case he needed it later – and if he was killed they would know who did it.

Eugene also said he fix the intercom system so he's probably going to play it on the loudspeaker intercom for everybody to hear

Back in the day!! (sigh – showing my age now!!) in order to record on a cassette player, you had to press play and record (The red Button) together!! The red button was not pressed down..so in theory Eugene did not record the event at all.

Even tho Eugene is loyal sounding on the tape but if someone else finds it, Eugene will likely get more punishment from Negan just by not telling on Dwight and keeping it to himself and let Dwight continue to do the stuff that he is doing and not coming to Negan in the first place so this shall be interesting definitely so Dwight and Eugene will be in shit creek

In every shot of the recorder that you showed us, the record button is not pushed in. That would be a continuity error if the show ends up bringing this up in the future.

I don't think Daryl will die but he'll suffer some kind of way. Dwight will finally be apart of Rick's group ( hopefully ) because killing him off will be a mistake, we still have so much story left for him. Eugene is nothing more then a coward and a opportunist. Killing him off apocalypse wise is dumb because he's smart asf and you need him to create things and you need him for his brains. All I know the next episode will be crazy and emotional!

Dwight should’ve just shot Eugene and told Negan he was the trader and he tried to kill Dwight so he had to put him down

Kinda hate Eugene now cuz he's Negan but his acting was brilliant in that episode he did good

Seeing the writing written down its utterly unprofessional! If they want this show to survive they need to clean house and get some real writing and fresh ideas

Dwight is in too good with Rick and the gang,so they cant kill him,but he still needs to pay for killing Denise,so its not a matter of "If" he'll die,but "When" he'll die. And with Rick and Jesus getting soft,who better than Negan to make it happen.

Daryl is the Spy! Dwight will get killed and Daryl will rejoin Negan.
