The Wild Wolf is a fan made prequel / short film based off the Game of Thrones and “A Song of Ice and Fire” series.
By Ciaran Mc Ilhatton and Shane Gibson.

Wild Wolf Films are a small independent film production group from Belfast, home of Game of Thrones and have been inspired by our love of the series to take up a camera and make something ourselves.

The short takes place around 15 years before the first episode of Game of Thrones and is based around the events prior to Robert’s Rebellion.

“Brandon Stark, Ned Stark’s older brother and heir to Winterfell, has been betrothed to Catelyn Tully in an effort to unify the houses Stark and Tully. A young Petyr Baelish, living as a ward at Riverrun under the care of House Tully, has challenged Brandon to a duel for the Lady Catelyn’s hand in marriage. Brandon is answering the challenge to put young Littlefinger in his place…”

The short film has been made with volunteers from the local media circles in Belfast and Northern Ireland to showcase some of the local talent on offer. Produced by Shane Gibson & Ciaran McIlhatton. Directed by Ciaran Mc Ilhatton

  1. The part with Raff the Raper was brilliant! At first I was confused. The Blackwood-Bracken feud is legendary but I had never read about anybody getting castrated. Then I understood when Brandon took apart Raff's lies about his identity and his crimes.
This illustrated and foreshadowed the lies told about Rhaegar that Brandon would believe and that would doom him. It also showed Brandon hard heart when it came to rapists and anyone who would pay insult to his sister.

  2. Accents a bit… confusing (brother and sister with different accents?). Same could be said for the show though, haha. Very well made otherwise. Really impressed 🙂 Subscribed and hoping for more. Bit concerned at how attractive I find Petyr. Oh, and definitely get a patreon, I'm sure people would be up for funding another ep. I know I am.
