Game of Thrones fans are likely very familiar with the scary face of the Night King, who was one of the main villains throughout the series. The actor under that paint and mask starting with season 6 was Vladimir Furdik, who is also a stunt and fight choreographer. Furdik’s fight choreography skills were used throughout season one of The Witcher and he is responsible for the action behind many of the show’s most exciting battles.

Many fans were unlikely to notice Furik’s name in the credits of The Witcher, but the community quickly realized the connection once he posted a photo on social media with Anya Chalotra in her Yennefer costume (blood and all). Yennefer is one of the show’s most popular characters, so the photo quickly gained a lot of positive reactions.

Fans of the show who are interested in more behind-the-scenes looks at the fight choreography prep should follow Furdik’s account to see a lot of clips from the fight training…

The Witcher season two is scheduled to begin filming soon, so fans will likely learn more about what is next for Geralt and company in the near future. Be sure to check back for updates and, until then, don’t forget to toss a coin to your Witcher.

The Witcher television series can be streamed now on Netflix, and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt can be played on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
