Celeste has gone back to Florida rather than meddle in daughter Lola’s love life on The Young and the Restless and her portrayer is taking advantage of the break by seeing the world — specifically, she has been vacationing in picturesque Croatia. Her most recent stop will be familiar for Game of Thrones fans everywhere.
Eva LaRue Lives The Game of Thrones Dream
The stunning star has turned her social media into a virtual travelogue with gorgeous photos of the country and her most recent spot is Dubrovnik — which served as the setting for the HBO show’s Kings Landing — a fact that isn’t lost on the actress.
“Straight Outta Kings Landing,” wrote LaRue, with a familiar landmark nestled right behind her. “@nautikarestaurant #dubrovnik #gameofthrones #blackwaterbay -Top 6 ‘most romantic restaurants in the world’- Now I need to know the other 5.”
The Battle of Blackwater Bay took place in the ninth episode of Game of Thrones Season 2 and is seared in any fan’s memory. Seeing the gorgeous setting where LaRue is dining with a friend is enhanced by seeing that. Dubrovnik is a walled city, where locals and tourists can actually walk the entire circumference of the city — and that is just one of the spectacular views you can take in.
A few days ago, LaRue also posted a stunning video of a boat ride in which she captioned, “Returning to this Slice O’ Heaven (after 3 yrs)! Perfect day, Old friends, new friends and a lotta Love! Thank Youuuu @bowa_dubrovnik #SoGrateful #HiddenGem♥️♥️😘😘#croatiafulloflife.”
If the actress, who is recurring on YR and could be back in Genoa City at any time, is a true Game of Thrones fan, hopefully, she has picked up the city map made just for fans. It gives a tour of the various locations — including Cersei’s Walk of Shame down the Jesuit Staircase. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
