I think it is the king beyond the wall
I was hoping we were gonna talk about Theons junk coming back. #givetheonaboner
Kinda thought he might be the original Reek. But idk. He might be dead.
if it was theon why would he be calling himself a kinslayer if he knows he didnt kill the stark boys…has to be someone else i would believe it more if u siad it was mance or a faceless man
I thought it was Mance but thinking again it this theory makes a lot of sense.
The hooded man is Jaqen H'ghar…
as I wait until tomorrow nigh to see season 7 episode 7 I believe Theon will die a hero in a tragic way.. as he saves his sister
It's Jaqen Hghar.
That book set at 1:11 is the one I have but as a result of the books getting bigger from reading them I can no longer fit all books in there. I can only fit 6 out of the 7 in and that's just from my brother reading them. I'm four books in and each time I read one it gets even bigger.
Interesting conclusions. I can see it!
Why would he be called a kinslayer? If bran and rickon are considered family, it still doesn't fit because he didn't kill his family he killed two boys from a farm. The only people who knew that were theon and Ramsay, so it couldn't be them. I'm guessing it's some northmen still loyal to the starks, considering they know who theon is.
I would lean towards him being jaqen h'gar or one of the faceless dudes !
the man that spoke to them was either Mance raider or one of the six spearwives that went south from the wall with Mance when Jon snow sent them to recover arya because of a vision see by the red woman in her stay at castle black speaking of a girl in grey on a dying horse
Wait you served in the military??
Interesting theory and valid premise. I had thought the hooded man was a Faceless man such as Jaqen H'ghar was.
Cheers for our service. For me I 'go somewhere else' some call it despondent. But I'm still there just quietly watching… Good theory. You could do a whole series dealing with the ptsd and it's many versions contributing to the general derangement of our favorite characters.
What if Theon…. Is the last Harpy…
Yet another forced ''Theory''
I'm a book reader but i'm just too dumb to pick up on these details.
Every other GoT theory channel should just give up. None compare to The Last Harpy. He's the most likeable, most interesting and most informative
The hooded man is probably jacen from the temple of black and white.
Thank you for your service.
read the books people.
it wont hurt i promise.
who is the hooded man that sits on the boat in front of Jon snow at hardhome? when Jon gets to the boat he seems shocked like he is unaware what was happening and was the only person in the boat who wasn't watching everyone rise back up instead he just kept his head down
I think it was an hallucination, I mean, he was clearly mentally unstable due to the torture, it's perfectly plausible that he could have just hallucinated human interaction due to the lack of it
It's great that you're not involved in a horrendous thing like war anymore. It's futile and gets in the way of real peace. It just creates a vortex of constant violence.
And now you're a YouTube creator with a great mind and great insight and you're doing something you enjoy. Well done man. You have my respect.
There could also be any number of people who have been at Winterfell for a long time and know about Theon.
by reding the books I thought that all the killing was done by mance raider and his spearwives and also he was the hooded man. He knew everything because he was given intel by John Snow who agreed to send him there to save "Arya"
As you said, tortured him horribly and stripped away his person mentally and physically. So if he stripped both those things away, he made him no one? ;] Would be quite freaky if Theon went all faceless man on people, without even knowing about it.
Big ass titties.
Hmmm I can't remember whatever happened to osha? Could she be the hooded "man" ? She did kill a lot of ironborn in winterfell while hiding in the crypts with bran and Rickon similar to how dreadfort men are dying at this point..? Plus she would know about theon and the millers wife and sons. Your theory about a split personality totally makes sense though. He would not be the first character to change due to massive trauma
you never served in the military
The roose is loose
Main reason I don't think this theory will come to be is that technically, there's no such thing as a split personality. Doctors don't treat it as an illness but in fact treat the patient based on the fact they think they have a split personality and will try convince people of it being true. I think George R R Martin would research this and see that a split personality is a modern term not even accepted in the medical industry and something people never in history believed in, which is the main thing against it. His books are riddled with history as well as magic. IF he was one in the same man then I would rather put it down to magic over a mental illness.
Or the hooded man can be the faceless man of Bravos
I still think it was one of the Wildlings that went to Winterfell with Mance.
Think about it, they got the story of kinslaying wrong. Theon knows that he couldn't find them and let them go.
The fact the character got this wrong means that it's not a character in his own head.
Thank you for your service to this country!!!!
I always thought it was his guilty conscience so I completely agree.
excellent theory. Its totally plausible Theon's personality split due to the torture he suffered & this combined with guilt, anger & hatred brought about the personality of "the hooded man",a person with the "balls" to strike back at those who've mistreated him
This is like the movie Fight Club. I like this theory.
