Game of Thrones is the most famous series on the planet, and for good reason, its exciting story and its actors have created countless fans.
‘Darrin syndrome’
As in many series or films, Game of Thrones decided to change actors along the way. This is what is called ‘Darrin syndrome’ in reference to Samantha’s change of husband in Bewitched.
Game of Thrones also decided to separate from certain actors, and not necessarily by choice. Replacements are generally carried out because of the availability of people or simply for economic reasons.
In the series, some changes had no impact, for example the character of Leaf, a Child of the Forest. On the other hand, others were more noticeable, notably Daario or The Mountain.
