VidAngel believes that it is the individuals responsibility to censor what they watch, not the governments job. VidAngel is vehemently opposed to government or forced censorship in media. We support free speech for everyone.
Most importantly, we believe it is the Individual/Family’s right to choose what they want to watch and to choose how they want to watch it in their own home and on their own devices.
NOTE ON COLOR: At the beginning, the swears add color, but too much color and you end up with a muddy brown.

WARNING: Both the paintball markers and Fiberfix were used for special cinematic and safety purposes in this video, do NOT try this at home.
Think Wikipedia style collaboration for family-friendly video filters. VidAngel is powered by a volunteer community of avid fans of family-friendly video where members of the community tag potentially offensive swearing, sex and violence in movies, TV shows and YouTube videos. These tags allow viewers to filter what they see and hear based on their personal values and content preferences.
VidAngel’s approach to filtering is legal and explicitly protected by the Family Entertainment and Copyright Act of 2005. This law protects your right to remove “limited portions of audio or video content of a motion picture, during a performance in or transmitted to that household for private home viewing, from an authorized copy of the motion picture.”
VidAngel is founded by the Harmon Brothers, who are well known for creating the award winning YouTube sensation Girl’s Don’t Poop for Poo~Pourri (which has more than 27 million YouTube views) and co-founding Orabrush and Orapup, another award winning YouTube breakthrough.
One of the most compelling aspects of VidAngel is that it expands Hollywood’s market base here in the United States. Hollywood is always trying to reach more viewers by cutting their films for different audiences: There’s the Theatrical Cut, the Director’s Cut, the Airline and Broadcast Cut for the FCC, the Middle Eastern cut for Islam, and fan cuts like people uploading just the sex scenes from Game of Thrones to YouTube. It seems like there’s a cut for everyone. But one major group was missing, a Family Cut for streaming. That’s why VidAngel was created!

You must have had a lof of paintball fun making this video. Dallas, as the boss, did you do the shooting? 😉
Hahahaa
This is retarded
I understand the deeper meaning but if your an adult I dont see why you cant see blood and violence, sexual scenes and swearing. Also if your "protecting" they show a screen before saying that there will be that stuff so I dont see the point of this.
I don't give a fuck.
Y tho ?
Sponsored by Tippmann?
I need this
Hell nah fam
What kinda stupid fuckin pussy shit is this?! Movie streaming for sissy little twats, are you fuck fuck fuck fuck fucking serious?! And they're called titties, not bosoms. Fuck.
No swearing on my good Christian minecraft server
OUCH JUST OUCH
Rip random parents XD
That shit would hurt like hell
It’s a fucking word like damn lmao
I'd be the guy to fucking cover my dick
Oh my gosh that has got to hurt so bad I've been paint balling and each shot hurts really bad and leaves a mark
One word… ouch
How does this do anything… this is such as if I ate a doughnut every day to stop aware you about cancer
Splatoon gone wrong
A U.S marine would make these people piss themselves with their language, lmao
Don’t promote violence in movies!
Proceeds to shoot family of four rapidly
I find this disturbing.. just how these men fired on them like a firing squad. Got the message. Just disturbing.
Oh wan they swore what the fuck is the big "powerful point"?!
Why😰
Ouch. And from almost point blank…
To all you airsofters he burned my patch
Holy shit…
To bad this is fake
feckin ass tits shit
censorship is dictatorship
1942 Jewish family being executed by German SS firing squad colorized
fukin el, no point of this. Im free to watch the fuck i want, if u have any prob just watch some disney
Can't be that many
Fake af
they ded now
Get fucked
This was so well done, a fantastic visual metaphor. Also thank you for showing us the behind the scenes, too. Although maybe having the disclaimer of "Don't try this at home, and precautions were taken in the making of this video" at the beginning would have been even better- maybe even having a short couple second shot of the actors taking the hoods off and showing they had protective gear.
No face masks what dumb people
This a metaphor for the same of a metaphor that means nothing. You failed essay 101 but we got to watch a family get shot to death and that's always a bonus.
how about instead of censoring cinema you just don't let your kids fucking watch Wolf of Wall Street
Yeah bags over the head is totally safe
Because those fucking bags are gonna protect em
this some isis shit when u high af muh nigga fuck
This is a cool video, but it's wrapped in SJW propoganda
So it's equating words with physical violence. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
Just make films without those things. No need to ruin already made films and distort the writer/director's vision. Children should not be watching Wolf Of Wall Street. It's based on a real story and the real story was messed up. The viewer isn't going to capture the dysfunction with it being censored, and the subject matter is too adult orientated for a minor to even comprehend.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me?
That made laugh so hard through out the entire shooting. xD
that was my last pack of popcorn 🙁
