  1. I may get shot in the face here, and don't get me wrong, I am a MCU fanboy and I am proud of it. I have often agreed with reviews around the movies, but Thor Ragnarok sucked. If we look at Odin, Odin is a king and takes his role seriously. So you are left to assume that Thor was supposed to replace him eventually. Now, the humour in this movie is what killed it. Imagine Odin acting like Thor did in this movie? Bear in mind Thor is supposed to be taking the king role, and that Asgaard is under attack and is about to be destroyed. Here comes Thor, acting like a complete twat and not taking his future role or the attack on his planet as a threat, but a joke. From a tone point-of-view, this movie sucked. Hey, lets turn Thor into a bumbling joker. Look at Tony Stark's character arch development, or Captain America's arch. You can see that they have grown up to be wiser and more responsible, but Thor has gone backwards. Thor started out as a serious fucker that wanted to be king, and now, he's an idiot. I cannot take his character arch seriously anymore. CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Sorry, the movie sucked.

  2. to be honest i had a fun time but not really liked the movie… first movies started with a good plot with some jokes here and there, that movie was pure jokes with no respect for their own characters and not even their own movies, the thing just destroyed and created plot holes with the other ones (Thor can fight the hulk and almost win with no hamer, but on the first thor movie he was easily controlled by shield agents, Banner stated on the avengers that he can control when to turn into the hulk, on ragnarok he cant for stupid jokes, it was really obvious that the ending of Dark World, Loki posing as Odin, was a huge twist for next the movie, but nope it was skipped for another stupid joke and resolved in less than 2 minutes, vision lifting the hammer was shocking for the characters, but here the freaking destruction of the damn thing is shown like it's nothing as thor does not freak out or tue music or something happens to help the visual) i had some laughs with the movie, but damn it was weird how the director had no respect for the previous entries… that movie make marvel seems exactly like DC fanboys think it is…

  3. About the Control Disk: there was no way Thor could took it out even in his god form. This disk were program to hurt even cosmic being like Silver Surfer (who was a fighter of Sakaar in the comics).

  4. In a first for me regarding a Marvel movie, my biggest issue with the film was there being too much humor. Not that the humor was poor, but they ruined worthy poignant moments with humor that took more away than it added.

  5. This movie was only okay. Comedy was too slapstick for my taste, there was little to no emotional weight, and the plot was the same thing we’ve gotten for years with a new colorful skin painted on because test groups said 80’s nostalgia is hot right now.

  6. Well ithink that the Asgardians are going to end up on Yodenheim…..Loki didn't just look at the Tesseract he also looked at the power source that will resore the relm of the frost giants and he is there King,so i think he has both and that will fulfill Odin's wishes from the first Thor movie to unite the 2 relms and end their war…also did anybody else see a Stormtrooper helmet in Skurge's pile of stuff at the beginningi am positive i saw one

  7. In the avenger movie Bruce told the team that he shot himself in the mouth and when he did the hulk spit it out. This implies that if Bruce dies and turns into the hulk, that the hulk would eventually turn back into a healthy Bruce. Basically if Bruce dies his body turns into the hulk to heal itself. So Bruce could come back in future movies fully alive

  8. Lady Sif not being in this movie definitely made me sad, and not just because I love Jaime Alexander. Probably my biggest criticism of the Thor movies is that the warriors three, and Lady Sif to a lesser extent, just felt so under-utilized. Like I wanted to see more of them! If it makes you guys feel better though, Sif isn't "dead" she's still alive and well in the cinematic universe. I remember reading that the only reason she wasn't in the film and they used the Valkyrie instead was because Jaime Alexander wasn't told about filming until the last minute and she was already working on production of the show she's on. She wasn't able to do them both at the same time since they were being shot on different continents. She posted on twitter that she was really sad about not being able to be in the film but not to worry because she'd still be back.

  9. Chris did drunken Russell Crow for most of the movie… Cuz that's what heroes doo.
Why is no one talking about the badass fight at the end. When Immigrant song kicks in is soo fucking amazing

  10. Hel is the Goddess of Death in the original mythology. And yes, she is also Loki's daughter.
I loved the movie, but I wish they hadn't changed that. It's still a religion they're playing with, they should be more respectful towards the original material by at least keeping the character relationships in the proper order.

  11. Hey Guys, any thoughts on why they changed the BiFrost control? Hela didn’t know that Odin’s spear also unlocked the BiFrost or do you think when they rebuilt it, they only used Heimdall’s sword?

  12. I'm not 100% on Marvel Cosmology, but I think each parallel universe has nine realms, and each universe has its own Sorcerer Supreme. That's why Dr. Strange got involved in Ragnarok, because universal problems are in his wheelhouse. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  13. So I have only seen bits of the other thor movies just an FYI. The odin death scene came out of nowhere but I liked it. How he was with his boys, in Norway. Eventhough he did so much damage Odin forgave Loki and talked about his mom, but let's face it Loki is a momma's boy. The one thing that made me feel a little odd was how it reminded me of Mufassa's ghost/ that turtle guy from Kung Fu Panda. So I guess in way when Strange says "He's waiting for you" he's acting like Rafiki in Lion King. Gosh I love film. P.S For once I understand why people like Loki as a character.

  14. Valkyrie was so much better than Black Widow. I can actually believe she can hold her own with these sort of threats. Where Black Widow is like if one of us were thrown into a super royale and actually held our own. Impossible. So kill off BW and use Valkyrie

  15. Great Review! Loved the movie. I think Bruce is not dead, he said in Avengers that he tried killing himself and Hulk didnt allowed it "He spit the bullet" soooo I guess he is still alive
