Damn great video.
I loved it! I have to get the dvd.
Thor is a great movie but it's very far from the smartest
Im so biased because Thor was directed by my fav director and will defend it to my grave but the one thing that made me so mad was the fact that they have all this build up to their big champion that Thor is going to fight. In any other situation the revel would have been hilarious, but that was only if the fucking trailer for it didn't give us the goddamed punch line.
Still god I love this vid, thanks for giving me more quality for my addiction
Good Lord this is so relevant
Jesus so fucking smart, i guess Hollywood it's not just formated junk…
Im pretty sure Thor lost his eye in this movie as part of setting the stage for King Thor.. Like… In the comics. Where Thor is king of Asgard, and only has one eye, and is a hell of a lot more powerful with the Thor-Force (instead of the Odin-Force).
Thats probably why Thor's journey throughout this movie doesnt match the narrative of the other characters, because that wasnt the narrative the movie was trying to set up (the past having such a theme with the characters is a more overlapping coincidence than the primary goal of the film). The plot of the movie is a mashup of a combination of various storyarcs, as is pretty much every marvel movie. So seeing them add in some major elements from Earth-14412 isnt a shock what so ever.
Loki did steal the tesseract
I am absolutely sure loki took the tesseract. Otherwise Thanos would have to pry it from Surtyr…actually id love to see that fight. Alas, without it I have no way of explaining how Loki got out of collapsing asgard.
How do you consider splicing multiple unrelated comic storylines together incoherently, then punctuating them with low brow jokes "smart"?
Thor was literally the muscle-bound jock posterboy of Asgard. His shift towards raggedy protector at the start of the film reflects a more altruistic (though not entirely so) stance, seeking to defend Asgard (a result, no doubt, of his experiences from the last 4 movies). Yet as the raggedy protector, he's still a war-bound rage-a-holic fighting to defend the old-world beauty and glory of Asgard. His ego-challenging shaming, self-realization and consequent understanding that Asgard is its people and not the place brings him a wisdom and a genuine altruism for his people that takes him away from the jingoistic muscle-head fighter he once was.
What the heck do you mean Thor doesn't confront his past????
jesus it's just a goddamn comic book movie with hardly an nuance. Stop over-analysing everything.
10 out of 10 Goldblums
That's the most ironic title I've ever seen, it was absolutely slap stick buffoon humor throughout

Loki almost definitely took the space stone and Hela probably isn’t destroyed
Can we look @ the fresco and the art styles depicted in it? The renaissance inspired art with how Odin wanted everyone to see it and how Underneath the history that was hidden was depicted in a more medieval, art style which def had more violent undertones compared to the renaissance.
Smartest?????? Hehe he. I thing is the worst and most stupid. Joke
Would you please link to the David Campbell video and material you referenced? Thank you.
Every moment with the main villain really ruin it for me, so much potential but it was so half assed. So much opportunity to really build some human with the sibling relationship but was just almost but gave up in a critical moment. Like the scene before thor goes thunderr God, his sister and him had so many moments to engage with their relationship and their history but fuck it let just make quick movie lines… sign so much opportunity with this movie. Guardians of galaxy is in my book still actually the best marvel movies
Damnwisecrack,a nonsnarky video obnoxious review. I didn't know you had it in you.
STOP SAYING FIRE GUY ITS SURTUR AND ALSO i like the video keep it up
Spoiler: Loki stole the tesseract.
I think this is one of the worst marvel movies.
Loki did take the tesseract (the space infinity stone) or else he wouldn't have escape from Asgard. It's also in wiki that the current holder of the space infinity stone/tesseract is Loki since 2017 in the MCU.
"Oh fuck it's jared."
reference to The Fractured but whole
Seems to me like this movie is more about the past catching up with all the fucking jerks of the universe……
Dude Loki TOTALLY stole the Tesseract
I m sure Loki stole the tesseract
"Really clever"…
Loki totally stole the Tesseract. We've already seen him holding it in the Infinity War teaser.
Thor already dealt with his past in Thor 1. In fact, it makes much more sense to have him and hela be counterpoints: the imperialistic past Vs. the golden peaceful age… How exactly would the film have been smarter if aaaalll characters have roughly the same arc ?
This is why nationalism is so misguided.
