Game of Thrones is currently filming for the eight and final season. As we all know, the Titanic Studios at Belfast is one of the prime locations for Game of Thrones, and we have been reporting about set activity there for weeks, and now we have news about three stars filming! Read on!
The report comes from the Spanish Game of Thrones fansite Los Siete Reinos, and it says that three Game of Thrones cast members, Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Joe Dempsie (Gendry) and Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) were spotted filming scenes at the Titanic Studios. The trio apparently filmed two weeks ago, and the report also says that the scenes filmed during this time involved female extras.
That’s all that’s known. LSR only knows the three were there at the time, but there’s no guarantee that they filmed together. Also unknown is whether they filmed inside or on the giant set that has been set up in the lot which we have talked about before. There’s a good chance it was a small dialogue scene that was filmed.
It seems likely that the scene was done filming, since Liam Cunningham has since then been spotted Abu Dhabi where he participated in a Formula 1 race :
