  1. You obviously have not seen A Month in the Country, And When Did You Last See Your Father, Conspiracy or Apartment Zero. If you had, you would have left off Love Actually. As far as Lost Empires is concerned, he is the omniscient observer, which is a thankless job, the show is mediocre, but well worth seeing for John Castle's performance as Uncle Nick and it is one of Sir Laurence Oliver's final performances. Honorable mention for Trauma, a bad film with a great and eerie performance by Firth and Master of the Moor, a creepy and brilliant job by Firth. Master of the Moore is quite good.

  2. after watching Kingsman TGC, I have to accept fact that Colin is one of the most sexiest brits actor I've ever seen. He is 57 but looks so damn good with suits. and his body shape, surely he works hard to get that shape ain't he?

  3. I have been a huge Colin Firth fan for over 10 years! The BBC/HBO 2001 movie Conspiracy is very good but hard to watch (Nazis talking about the Jewish "problem") but Colin's performance is very outstanding!

  4. Tinker, tailor should have been here. I was initially upset at seeing p & p at #5, but have to admit it segued nicely into Mark Darcy in bjd (I still would put p & p first really, it's iconic ). I haven't seen a single man, but have heard it's a great performance before this as well. Will have to watch it. While I loved Kingsman and him in it and he gets huge kudos for the prep and taking on the action role, I would put it in the lower five.

  5. I do agree. However with one change. Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice should have been atleast 2nd or 3 rd. Though the 2nd and 3rd mentioned are no less good, Darcy should be up there. It was the performance that made this man. Colin Firth had changed the image of Pride and Prejudice from a female oriented story to a Man centric, outshining the terrific Jennifer Elhe.
